Summary: This is a very good Sony DSC-TX,Sony's cyber shot range camera. I love its sleek, thin stylish designed and elegance with a 3.5inch large screen in the rear, and all the menu settings by touching the fully occupied rear screen that 's very responsive. Its Sony's 3.6v rechargable battery is not so good in the long run on the shooting with only 630MAh juice but it's not bad on holding the charge and taking more photos than any AA rechargable batteries of my other Nikon,Canon...
Summary: I ended up returning the camera because the touchscreen was hard to use. It took good pictures and video, but trying to navigate through the menus was very aggravating because I never knew how hard to tap the screen.
Between my canon SLR and this, I choose this little beast.

Summary: I love being able to capture a moment effortlessly and this little camera lets me. In low light it out performs my clunky SLR which costs heaps more. It's a rugged little point and shoot that has bumped around inside my purse for years now and has come out unscathed. Taking candid portraits (which is my focus) is a breeze. the soft skin option is really nice and even blown up, is not easy to detect. People just come out beautifully.
Buying used a bit of a mistake, but photo quality excellent

Summary: I bought this used camera to replace my tx7, that I flooded in the marine housing last year. After checking out the housing, I determined the case had just popped open and was not actually defective, so wanted to get another camera that would fit the same us case. I took this camera to Saba and St Kitts trip and as far as picture quality, is great. The camera arrived quickly, looked beautiful and initially seemed to be a great purchase.
Summary: This is a pretty good camera. What we love about it is that it is so easy to use.... very intuitive and not at all complicated. There's no converting of files to get them to your computer, or anything like that which we've experienced with other brands like Panasonic. However, as with all previous Sony cams i've had, this camera doesn't do very well in low light. Even with flash, your picture usually comes out with some kind of weird reddish shadow on it.
Summary: I am a Marine Investigator. I handle cases involving failures, accident investigation, etc. Much of what I do is "forensic photography". For most of my work I switched from a Nikon system to the Fuji X-Pro 1. That said, this camera is never far from reach. I bought a leather Blackberry phone holster which fits it like a glove (watch out, though...
