Summary: I'm a loyal Sony and Cybershot customer. My last Cybershot camera, at least 2-3 years old, the touch screen does not work so I can not change settings. So I ordered this one. Only had for few months. Its hard to press the camera shoot button. Everyone presses the zoom or ON/OFF button instead. So not easy to hold and press. ALSO, the view screen went black! I had to send for repair. Very disappointed. But I knew it was discontinued. Not worth the $200 I paid.

Summary: Sony Cameras suffer from CMOS problems with colored vertical lines in many photos. DO NOT BUY A SONY camera- They sold me a Protection Plus Warranty for this camera then when problem occurred and was sent to repair station they wanted to bill me $161. They refused to honor the Warranty because I could no longer supply original sakes receipt even though they had sold a Extended Warranty for if showing the Serial Number.
Summary: I had this camera for 3 weeks and the screen died. Sent it for repair and 3 days later the whole camera died. Sony repair facility is horrible to deal with and most customer service calls are answered in India now. I bought the extra warranty and they won't help until the camera is a year old. They won't replace and want me to send it to them again. Very disappointed in Sony.
Summary: When I first tried this camera I was very impressed...lightweight, super features and output was like you would expect from something much larger. It was perfect as a small travel companion that would be relied upon for high quality stills or video...even the sound was very good. Bottom line: Two months ago the display died and it is now out of warranty and useless.
