Summary: The TX55 is surprisingly smaller, thinner, lighter. For some, however, this may be an issue (due to such small size) and it falling to an immediate death. The camera has a new format as far as the display (icons. The SD card has been "micro"sized and does not have room for a regular size SD card. NOTE: There is no clear indicator (other than the user manual) as to which side to insert the micro SD card.
Summary: I've had this camera for a while now, and can comment on how well I've adjusted to the touch controls and other attributes of this camera. Here are the pros and cons as I see them: Pros: * Sleek - the design is stunning. Small and a feels like it's well built. * Picture quality - picture quality seems on par with a camera of this size and without a lens that extends out when turned on.
Summary: My girlfriends camera was a POS. I looked this up and bought it simply because you can't go wrong with sony electronics and they description said it takes great pictures in low light. We used the camera at DL and we were amazed by how well the pictures came out while never playing with the settings.
