Summary: Great product. The touchscreen took a little getting used to (we were using my wife's old cannon) but aside from that I lobe it. Already had its licks from hitting the pool as well as two beaches and works as well as day 1. I do say I listen to the instructions and I think that's why I don't run into any issues from saltwater so just be smart and follow the instructions you'll be loving your underwater pics.
Summary: I really like Sony cyber-shots. I think I used to own the first one they came out with. I've tried other small camera brands like Canon and Nikon, but I prefer the quality and ease of the Sony types. I really love the panorama option. I miss some of the silly options that the other cyber-shots had, but they aren't very important. I could just make the effort to do some photo editing once the pictures are on my computer.
Summary: I needed a camera that was wateproof and easy to use for a sailing race across the North Pacific Ocean and this camera worked very well, albeit briefly. I found the camera easy to use even without glasses. The simple mode had large text and all the features I needed to quickly take pictures. Even being hit with constant waves, and being constantly wet for a week and a half in the pocket of my foul weather jacket, the camera never leaked.
Summary: Awesome camera. The photos and features are great. Easy to browse through to view photos, explore features, and make adjustments. I strongly suggest purchasing the mini-tripod stand for planning photos and group shots with the timer.
Summary: I've had this camera a little over a year now and i absolutely love it ! ... had an issue with it earlier this year ... it refused to charge but when i took it to fix, the charger was apparantly defective. But other than that ... it takes really good pictures, the underwater feature works great. I most definitely recommend this camera.
Summary: My family owns two waterproof cameras - Canon and Sony. Both take good pictures but my Canon is two years older and still works (beginning to act quirky) while the Sony has a piece that just broke off. I bought the Sony on Amazon during Black Friday deal that I thought was too good to pass up, but now wonder if it was worth it since I am afraid that it is no longer waterproof. Both cameras have been in pools and oceans with no problems.
Summary: I purchased this camera less than a year ago. I was very happy with this thing with it's touch screen interface with lagged at times but had so many options. The stitching feature is pretty slick and works well. I Never took it in the water even though it states that its a Water Proof Camera. I treated this thing like a baby and followed all care and use instructions. I have several other cameras. Mostly Canon. This is my first and last Sony product, I will ever purchase.
