Summary: I love this camera it takes wonderful pictures, is full of really cool features, and shoots amazing video in full high def. Also to add to it, it's very strong, and well built. And I have to say that before I bought it I read a review saying the sound quailty was bad and that it sounded muffeled, in my opinion the sound quailty is great. i haven't had a single problem with it.
Summary: I was very surprised that this camera actually performs fairly well. While there are limited options for manual functionality, it does what it needs to do taking photos. For the casual photographer, does everything you want it to do. It can also be a good companion to a DSLR as well. The camera's option to support SD & Memory Stick is a great option. No longer do you have to be tied to proprietary Sony MS. This is definitely a step forward.
Summary: I just received this camera yesterday, and have spent some time with it. So far I have not been dissapointed. Spend some time reading the manual, there is a learning curve involved to get the most from this camera. The pictures and video are crisp and true to color, and performs very well under low light conditions.
Summary: I was in the market for a new digital camera since the old one I had broke because I left it in the hot sun in my car all day. The main reasons I chose this Sony Cyber shot TX10 is because first It appears to be more durable(for weather extremes, water, and a low level drop). Secondly, it was always annoying to me that when I went to sporting events or really any type of event, I had to choose between either taking a video or a still picture, and then had to stop and...

Summary: I have spent a few months researching cameras and I had very specific needs. Anytime I make a purchase a make sure to do my homework and go into a store like Best Buy to actually play with the camera for a bit. I was looking for something with a high megapixel quality, at least 4 optical zoom, HD video capability, waterproof, and compact. After looking at several other brands this was head and shoulders above the rest.
Summary: If you want to read the opinion of a professional photographer, read on... IMPORTANT UPDATE: The TX10 is NOT Compatible with Sony Marine Pack Enclosures or any other enclosures. Pros: 1) The TX10 shines in low-light still photography, it eliminates most of the noise even at ISO 800. 2) The small form factor means you can easily hide the camera from "predators." 3) It is water "resistant' but not truly waterproof aka. you shouldn't go scuba diving with it.
Summary: I was given a Cybershot when they first came out MANY years ago, and have had several cameras since that time. All but my Sony have either broken or had bad picture quality. The old Cybershot still works perfectly, but is VERY outdated and bulky. After doing some research, I was amazed with how much this camera does. I actually brought it to work to show my coworker, as she is in the market for a new camera, and I do believe she's sold on this one!
Summary: i pre-order the Sony Cyber-Shot tx10 for my wife March 3rd and I received it by UPS on Tuesday, April 5th. I bought her an extra battery and charger from the Sony store in Atlanta, GA right after i pre-order the camera. Only because the store was closing...I paid $10 for the extra battery and $18 for the charger.
