Totally satisfied! Background defocusing feature is awesome

Summary: Simply put, this little guy is unbeatable in terms of price / performance. I bought this because I am quite happy with my older TX5, now given to my child. Have been using it for about 3 weeks. IMO, TX10 has a lot of improvements against its predecessor TX5. Pros: 1. slim, lightweight, feels comfortable in pockets 2. stylish 3.
Summary: I bought this camera for my girlfriend as a Christmas gift. She loves it, though I think I love it more. This thing is fantastic. I got it to replace her older camera, not only is this one smaller, but it is packed with so many features that it's almost unbeliveable. What I'm dying to try out is the waterproofing, that's next on the agenda. Overall excellent buy.
Summary: Turned on the camera to see a flashing E:62:10 on the screen that would not go away. Did a search and found out that these Sony cameras have a common problem with these error codes. With people suggesting to tap it to make it go away. Well I did what the manual told me to do and reset it. Nothing worked. So I returned it and got a Nikon instead. BTW my sister who this gift was for was disappointed she couldn't use her new camera for New Years.
Summary: I finally got this camera on a Gold Box Deal of the Day but am very scared to use it underwater because I dropped it once and the battery case opened! So how sure am I that that won't happen underwater? And if it does open and the camera breaks, Sony won't give me a warranty for that. :( I don't know what to do currently.
Summary: After 1 month camera got water into it and was announced by Sony as corrosion damage. Sony told me it was fixable at first for $80 to fix and said we will call you back to make your payment, getting my hopes up all day, I answer the phone later-on and sony told me theirs nothing we can do. Horrible business people they don't know how to treat their customers. Don't buy from sony, Bunch of Crooks.
Summary: This is the first waterproof digital camera I have owned, and am extremely satisfied with it so far. I have owned multiple digital cameras, none of which have ever given me problems. I own a Canon Powershot G9, which is a great camera, along with its waterproof housing, but I was looking for a camera that was much more discreet and less bulky. -The image quality of photos (NOT taken underwater) compared to my G9 is comparable, but is not quite as excellent.
