So far so good! Loving my camera

Summary: I had this camera in pink for years but one day it fell and even though it still worked, it had some touchscreen problems. But the pictures it took were so amazing that I had to get it again. I found it here in amazon, in silver (even better!) at a wonderful price, and even though it is refurbished it works perfectly. Took it to cancun to test it and enjoyed using it in the ocean and under the pool without a problem. The pictures are amazing!
Summary: I absolutely adore this camera. Since I do like it very much, I'll start with the Cons! -Paint is ~~easily~~ scratched. If you plan on getting this thing out at the beach be very careful about sand getting into the sliding front. I am OCD as hell and mine still managed a scratch when I took one second to not pay attention. -The battery life is TERRIBLE on video mode. I easily breeze through my 3 batteries with this. -It shoots double-photos ALL the time.
Summary: This camera's awesome, I read its not really waterproof, which was a concern so we don't take in the water, but I take it fishing with me all the time, great self timer with face recognition. A ton of features, crystal clear Zeiss Lens and the software is easy to use.
Summary: Very compact and ready quickly. Small screen makes it difficult to position shot exactly, especially in bright light. Cannot see image at all. Still haven't figured out all the settings even though it is auto focus.
shockproof, yet it broke in my bag that had nothing but a towel in it.

Summary: I honestly didn't use this camera much at all the first year i had it, mostly just sat on my desk. Then i started taking it to sea world to take pics of the kids at the splash pad and the various splash zone shows that go on there. The camera took great pictures, and we played with it in the fish tank a bit too at home, then one trip to sea world, I grabbed my camera out of my bag, that contained nothing else but a towel for after the splash pad and found the casing to...
Summary: I'm pretty rough on my electronics when traveling. We purchased the camera for Hawaii, where my now husband proposed, and waited until the end of the trip to use it in water based on being cautious from former reviews. Those were the best and most fun pics with the ocean spraying. The camera was dunked and immersed in water - no problem and great photos! We then took the camera to Belize on our Honeymoon and I used it for over 1 hour under water snorkeling.
