  • Is there another way to recharge the battery without removing it

I hate removing my battery to recharge it. Is there an alternative? I have an older Cybershot docking station, but it won't fit, even with plate provided.

    Answered by KristoferB 2008-12-04:

does Sony have a charging cable for you camera? some cameras cannot charge batteries while they are in them, I've got one that will and one that won't.. make sure your camera can actually charge

    Answered by Pamela 2008-12-04:

Thanks. There is no charging cable, so I guess I'm

    Answered by MissMary 2009-07-20:

You can use a cable battery charger or USB cable (if provided). If it’s not provided then there is no other way to charge the battery without removing
