Question: too contrast images at night and low light daytime

I have a problem with my Sony DSC-T70. when i'm taking pictures at night or in low light daytime, the pictures are too contrast. at night, the pictures are so red. it's very disappointing. i want to bring out the "true" color of the person/things i'm taking pictures with. what should i do? what should function should i adjust? i'm looking forward for any help. thank you in advance. :)

You should read the Sony's book/manual to understand the camera. Then you can adjust the settings and check if there's any difference.
