The Sony DSC-T300 digital camera has a compact body with 10.1 megapixel resolution and a wide 3.5" touch-screen LCD. The Smile Shutter technology as well as Face Detection technology to optimize focus, exposure and color for up to eight faces. This camera weighs 5.3 oz and measures 3.7 X 0.8 X 2.3 in.

Sony DSC-T300 is designed with a Carl Zeiss® 5x optical zoom lens and Sony’s Double Anti-Blur solution which results in crisp, clear images. The advanced Sony® Super HAD™ (Hole Accumulated Diode) CCD design increases sensitivity and reduces noise. Super SteadyShot® Optical Image Stabilization and a High Sensitivity (ISO 3200) Mode helps users to shoot effectively in low light without flash.

The Sony Clear RAW™ Noise Reduction system helps to suppress the color noise. An Intelligent Scene Recognition Mode automatically detects 5 different types of scenes and selects the appropriate camera settings. This Sony DSC-T300 also provides Dynamic range Optimization modes, Convenient Photo Modes and MPEG Movie VX Fine Mode which can Capture VGA (640 x 480) audio/video clips at a high frame rate (up to 30 frames per second7).

Sony DSC-T300’s Automatic Macro Shooting feature and a 9-point auto focus that measures auto-focus at 9 precision points instead of 5 gives greater creative freedom to users to compose images. It also comes with the Sony Smart Zoom® feature which intelligently “crops into” the central portion of interest in your photo, helping avoid the image degradation of other digital zooms. Burst mode can help to fire off up to one hundred (100) shots at Approx.0.64 second intervals (at any resolution: VGA to full resolution mode). With Simple Icon Setup Controls, it can be switched off to provide a full 16:9 wide screen view of your photos.

The DSC-T300 comes with a 15 MB Internal Memory, however a Memory Stick Duo™ media/Memory Stick PRO Duo™ can be inserted to capture additional images. Accessories include fully charged Lithium Ion battery, optional HD output adaptor and a Cyber-shot® cradle/charger with component cable output. DSC-T300 model offers the users a limited 1 year warranty on 1 Parts & Labor.

Small, compact and pocketable, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T300 is well-designed and easy to use. It captures good pictures under a variety of conditions, and has helpful tools such as Face Detection and D-Range Optimization to help out when things get tough. With a nice selection of preset Scene modes and useful post-capture editing options, the DSC-T300 has a lot to offer. Its touch screen display is handy and a snap to learn, making the overall shooting experience with... Read more

Sony CyberShot DSC-T300 digital camera The first acquaintance with the Sony T300 left quite an impression, an impression of a unique and stylishly designed camera. One that makes Sony stand out from the rest of the market. The nice and moreover solid design beams with quality, with on top of that a unique design. The integration of the intelligent software solution that facilitates digital photography once again, adds to the value of the Sony Cybershot T300. And if that... Read more

Our initial impressions of the T300 were not positive - with the function guide adding delays (but no useful information), and a 'plink' sound effect that screamed 'lifestyle accessory,' rather than 'camera,' every time it was touched (which does nothing to solidify the 'cameraness differentiation'). However, with these two turned off, the camera is transformed into a not-unpleasant, carry-everywhere snap shooter. On the positive side, the T300 has a lot of features that... Read more

I bought this camera as a replacement for my old and knackered Sony DSC-T1. Also I have several Sony gadgets & memory sticks, so this will be compatible with the lot. Initially I had doubts about the touch screen interface but after using it for a while, its the way to go. No more fiddling with flimsy buttons !! Photo quality is decent and much better than my old DSC-T1. The lens cover release mechanism is a bit awkward operate. The flash is also quite good. No memory... Read more
