Summary: a good first camera for the price has a lot of good features pictures seem nice enough good for travel or as i use it for just to have with me in my back pack so i can capture pictures that my phone just won't capture easy to use and loads easily to my computer
Summary: I had one of these that got damaged, and I wanted to continue with something that uses the same memory card. The Sony DSC-S730 takes great pictures and videos and is easy to choose the different settings. I'd buy another if I need another camera.
Excerpt: For what it delivers, as well as the large, crisp and clear 2.7 inch LCD display, this is a very nice, extremely easy to use camera that tells you what mode you are in, and what that mode does on the screen. A flash that can be used in low light, or a low-light setting with no flash adds to the allure of this well-priced digital point and shoot camera. I give this Sony camera a 7 out of 10, or 4 out of 5 stars!
Excerpt: But this, like the digital zoom, is largely irrelevant as everyone would use some form of memory card with their camera, on one uses just the internal memory of their camera! Although the features on this camera are a little thin on the ground, the build quality is so high that I would choose this camera over most of the competition out there.
Excerpt: This is good enough though. The problem I had with it was that after frequent usage, there appear to be an error with its memory card. I was a bit worry. So, what I did was I turned it off, took off the memory card from the slot and inserted it again. Just disappointing. Anyway, with that action, it was somehow fixed. I think in using this camera , everyone must double their care as it might malfunction.
Excerpt: It just isn’t reliable enough for me. The only real problem is that darn delay, but that is a big problem! The whole purpose for this item is to take pictures when I see something I want to capture. I am not impressed by a camera that can’t do just that, 100% of the time. Overall, I wouldn’t say I’ll never buy another Sony digital camera, but after this one, I just might go back to Canon for my next purchase!
