Excerpt: This camera is what everyone says, amazing sensor and features in a very small package. It's worth it. The photos are that much better than the tiny-sensored compact cameras everyone else is selling (granted you can't get the super telephoto in a compact without a small sensor, so granted, it's based on needs/interests). I agree with DPReview that the shooting experience is 'detached' and uninspiring. But I guess I have my DSLR for that more engaging experience.
Pros: Easy To Use, Fast/accurate auto-focus, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, Large Clear LCD, Nice Body Color, Short Lag Time, Small / Compact
Excerpt: I really wanted to love this little Sony camera with the great Zeiss lens. I found a very good deal on an open box item at a local big box store. It is extremely small and has an impressive lens; however, the minute you move from the widest setting, it loses speed rapidly, and to keep size...
Summary: The OEM charger runs a little over double the amperage. Simple math, there - the OEM charger charges significantly faster. Having said that, the batteries last as long (or even longer, in my limited experience) as the OEM battery. Overall - tough to beat a spare charger and 2 spare batteries for this price.
Excerpt: I use the camera for professional travel photography. It's a compact and solid, point and shoot camera. The lens and sensor are professional quality. You can capture both RAW and JPEG. It requires the purchase of a filter adapter to use 49mm filters, but it's worth it. Since a battery charger is not supplied, you should buy an extra battery and charger.
Pros: Good Image Quality, Good in Low Light, Small / Compact
Summary: The charger is a must have for RX100 owners as the camera does not come with one. The original option of charging the battery within the camera is not good and obviously no good for getting additional spare batteries charged while using the camera. The charger is compact and fits the battery perfectly. The two batteries that came with it work as good as the original Sony one so far. Highly recommended.
