Summary: Eh.... Not worth the 1000.... I would wait until a better camera came out in the future that did slo motion if that is what you are looking for. Also, TERRIBLE flashing video when it hits a light in slo motion.
Great images, lousy software, doesn't work well with iPhone.

Summary: Beware! If you intend to use the WiFi features (remote control and image transfer) with Mac/iPhone, get another camera!! I'd also add that many of the other features that sound so good seem difficult to navigate and use easily. There is more to great photography than pixels!

Summary: The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 IV is an amazing engineered camera. The features and design are wonderful. I am a photographer and you will find me behind my Canon EOS-5D Mark III. There is a world of difference in these two platforms.

Summary: Love the picture quality, size and ease of use. But, bought this for 4k video quality. While it does shoot in 4k, according to Sony tech support, it does not record the video in 4k and instead converts it to mp4. I want to watch in 4k. So returning day after purchasing. Sorry it didn't work.
Summary: I had high expectations for this camera given the specs and the success of the mark III. Unfortunately, some of the best features are limited. First, there is no ability to capture still frames from 4K video.
Pros: Very compact, excellent picture quality, panoramic mode is good and video is easy to shoot.
Cons: The flash appears to be flimsy and I there is no manual button to release the flash. Also, when it pops up and fires, you have to be really careful to push it back in. The biggest problem I have is that the disk is not formatted in way that most computers can read (I have tried it on a MAC and Wi...
