Summary: I purchased this camera to replace a very nice Sony camera that was inadvertently lost. Although it's an older model (came out in 2002), it is a great little point and shoot with many great features. Although the CD that comes with the camera will not load into newer operating systems (I have Windows Vista), I am still able to remove the memory card from the camera and plug it into the media port on my computer and download everything just as well.
Summary: This is an old camera and not the smaller Cyper shots like I remembered. It is fine for people who will not take a lot of pictures or want pictures larger than 4x6. Great for pictures that are sent by email. Small viewfinder by today's standards. This is a gift to someone overseas who has never had a camera. By US standards, it is really old.
Summary: I needed this camera for the battery cover i have a dsc-p51 that IS A GOOD CAMERA but the battery cover had got messed up even though it will still work just something to make the appearance a bit better.
Summary: Frist I would like to start off with I should have bought one of these Sony Cyber - Shot long time ago. Sony has know to be the top of all camers for some time now. About 3 weeks ago I seen though E-bay a Sony camera,So a bought it. Unknowing just what I readly had. I took it in and had it repromgram in to fix my needs,That when the good news came out about the camera. I had features on there that I may never ever used,But if and when I do,I have it all & some.
Summary: This camera is great to travel for different events. My fiance owned one previously to me buying this one used for my teenage daughter. For example, I have a powershot camera and when taking the same picture from my camera and my fiances camera the same shot comes out great from my end and completely blurry from his end from time to time. Like I said this camera is great if you just want a basic camera for taking pictures.
Summary: These cameras are classics. although they have low resilution by todays standards, they are very useful for e-mail, posting pictures on line, and for people just starting out in digital photography. The two that I purchased were not working (sold that way), but with little effort, they were working fine. I have a Sony H3, so the P-51's will be used as loaner units for friends.
