Great Little Camera but a lousy, cheap, plastic access door that breaks!
27 December 2011
Summary: Great all around point and shoot digital camera for still shots and video bursts with sound. Love, love, love this camera. Lightweight and small enough size to fit inside a pocket or small purse.
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P200 7.2 MP Digital Camera: easy to use and A+++ photos
21 April 2011
Summary: I bought this camera because it was being sold for parts that I needed. I needed the charger to replace mine which I misplaced and have not been able to locate. I have enjoyed using my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P200 7.2 MP Digital Camera immensely over the years and did not wish to replace it with a newer...
Summary: I own several other cameras (Nikon,Pentax) from 5 to 12 mega pixels... but no one compares with this camera. Pictures are sharp, clear and if using different settings you can get very good pictures. The others are clumsy, difficult to adjust and really leave a lot to desire...
Summary: No question this is a one of a kind digital cameras and is still sought 3+ years after it came out. I picked up a few used because some jerk stole mine from my office. They are all around the best pocket camera you can have until very recently(10/2010).
Summary: I don't know why Sony stop selling this camera, easy to use, compact and takes high quality pictures, every thing that I need. Im a profesional photographer and this is the camera that I carry with me whenever I'm not carrying my large cameras and lenses for work.
Classic Point and Shoot - No Dumb Bells 'n Whistles
31 October 2009
Summary: I love this camera. I have already owned two of them. (Actually, I still own two others, but they have gotten significant amounts of dust inside the camera body and onto the sensor, so photos of skies or white walls, etc. end up having large dark spots on them that must be photoshopped out.
Summary: A few years ago, I decided to temporarily swith the digital mdue to the fact that I was pregnant and needed a quick way to upload and share photos with freinds. After much research I decided to buy the P200 and I couldn't have been happier.
Summary: I have actually bought 2 of these, one to replace the first that was destroyed in a fire. The features I like most about the camera are the high resolution for the size. To get much higher you need the larger SLR cameras. The other features that make this camera better than most is the ease of use.
Summary: After my Sony Mavica CD400 began messing up, I was in the market for another camera. I take artistic photos as a hobby, so I wanted something fairly professional. However, a digital SLR was way out of my price range. My friend who produces Claymation movies, had a suggestion- the Sony DSC-P200.
Summary: When I bought my first P200 back in 2005, I bought it for a trip to NYC. The pictures I took were not only awesome but the camera easily fit into my pocket. The start up is almost instant. Unlike many compacts today, it does have manual controls.
