Summary: I was skeptical about this camera due to some comments about the low light difficulty. I am very happy with the purchase and have taken some excellent family portraits and indoor shots. I believe this was an excellent value and love the pictures I am getting.
Summary: Good battery life. Fast GPS reception. Ok wifi skills and android app. Great zoom! Good price. Focusing on macro Items can sometimes be a little challenging. If you have patience and play with it it gets great shots though.
Summary: Don't even know all the features, but it takes quality pictures, better than prior Fuji 10 mega pixel
Pros: price, quality, features. Best feature is that it can take very good pictures in low light, without the flash, and the colors look good. I'm not a camera expert, read a good review after seeing this refurbed on sale. Am happy with the camera. Also, it will charge from the USB cable!
Cons: you won't have that "new" feeling. It didn't come with a case. Probably a reduced warranty, but i've never had much success with warranty service anyway.
Summary: I am a very advanced award winning hobby photographer and very technical my love of this camera is a technical evaluation. Many reviews back up my opinion. In the two months I have had the camera, have taken 500+ shots. Any photo image problem is my-problem, not attributable to the camera.
Pros: Very good IQ, Image Quality, 20 mpix, significant range of ISO, versatile controls, Auto setting excellent, WiFi remote control connectable, on board flash plus hot shoe, manual settings, even (sort of ) manual focus, and 30 X Zeiss lens. Controls are intuitive. Any cons are easily over come and ...
Cons: As one would expect typical quality issues of small sensors, but for the most part post processing takes care of those issues. No eye-view, 3" screen viewing difficult in sun as are all such screen view cameras. No add filter threads. Thin lens shield vulnerable while in pocket.
Summary: Got this as a vacation travel camera. It's a fantastic deal at the refurb price. Requires an SD card (not supplied). Researched the seller before buying. They're an arm of a NASDAQ listed firm that has contracts with major manufacturers and retailers for surplus, returns, and refurbs.
Pros: This review is specific to the refurb HX50V sold by Secondipity through Newegg Marketplace. I was a bit leery of buying "refurb" but couldn't resist at the price. Camera was shipped promptly via UPS and arrived well packed in a sturdy "Sony Factory recertified" box. All parts (battery, strap, wal...
Cons: No viewfinder, but that's an OK trade-off for a pocket-size 30x zoom with a 3" screen. Haven't tried it in bright light yet. Refurb warranty is only 90 days.
Summary: I love this camera. It takes great photos! Easy to use and great directions for use included right in the camera. Super low light photos. Great shutter speed, catches lots of photos that my old digital camera missed from being too slow.
Summary: I bought it for my wife after reading reviews. It's a good value and the best camera we've owned. It's hand-held stability is good, and it's excellent in low-light conditions; she's very pleased with it.
