Good value

Trekker, Amazon
  • Summary: I was skeptical about this camera due to some comments about the low light difficulty. I am very happy with the purchase and have taken some excellent family portraits and indoor shots. I believe this was an excellent value and love the pictures I am getting.

Out of luck with this vendor if you have a warranty issue

M Williams, Amazon
  • Summary: Very disappointed with the POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THIS VENDOR. Camera was purchased as a gift. After 2 months of use, it displayed an error message to 'insert memory card' after the memory card is replaced (after downloading images).

Love it.

J Karpinski, Amazon
29 May 2015
  • Summary: Works well, great photos. The kit is nice enough considering what you pay for it. Tripod works. Get a larger card if you plan to go a long time without putting photos on a computer.

Good for Landscape

RJ Photos, B&H Photo
19 May 2015
  • Excerpt: Overall I am very happy with the camera, but it is not without its quirks. The camera was purchased for its GPS capability for use in Landscape photography. It is well suited to that. A couple issues I have noticed: 1) The write times are very slow. 2) GPS takes a while to acquire location.
  • Pros: Great Resolution, Great Zoom
  • Cons: Complicated Controls, Lag / Shutter Delay, No Viewfinder

price performance

Elvera O., Newegg
14 May 2015
  • Summary: Don't even know all the features, but it takes quality pictures, better than prior Fuji 10 mega pixel
  • Pros: price, quality, features. Best feature is that it can take very good pictures in low light, without the flash, and the colors look good. I'm not a camera expert, read a good review after seeing this refurbed on sale. Am happy with the camera. Also, it will charge from the USB cable!
  • Cons: you won't have that "new" feeling. It didn't come with a case. Probably a reduced warranty, but i've never had much success with warranty service anyway.

He gets terrific results in low light

Stoney Johnstone "Stoney Johnstone", Amazon
13 May 2015
  • Summary: I bought this camera on the recommendation of a friend who has the camera's predecessor. He gets terrific results in low light. This particular camera...not as much. Defocus does not work particularly well unless you're right on top of your subject.
