Summary: Overall, it is a nice camera with some cool features, but I sometimes like to look through the viewfinder when I take pictures. With this camera, it is all distorted and doesn't serve any purpose at all.
Summary: The camera case was seems to be smaller than the case the camera was issued with. For an aftermarket item it should have the ability to hold the camera and those accessories that are sold with it, which this does not.
Summary: OK.. so good things: 1. The bag....even though is very small, vivitar brand; 2. The baterry charger.. excellent.. the best of the whole pack.. vivitar brand as well... 3. the usb card reader and the HDMI cable and 4. the battery; just oK: 1. the tripod..
Summary: I've been a amateur photographer for years, having an SLR in high school, using canon digital point & shoots for work and the past few years getting my DSLR(nikon d5000). Getting the Sony Cyber-shot out of the box, it's definitely an attractive, well built camera.
Summary: Bought this to replace an old Lumix which I loved, but broke. It's definitely better than a three year broken bridge camera or a cheapo pocket point and shoot. I know a little about cameras and have owned several, but am no pro. I've had this for two weeks and have taken a ton of pics.
Summary: This camera deserves a rating of 5 but was disappointed when I started using that the camera would automatically change the mode when taking a picture. When I checked the Sony website it was a known problem and also just purchased was not offering any good packages to have it repaired.

Summary: A lot of fiddling around to change settings, having to practise finding different modes before using. When used again a few weeks later I had to familiarise myself with settings once again. Not very intuitive.

Excerpt: This camera is said to be a BRIDGE between common point and shoot and DSLR . As it says It has most functions in between them . Never expect performance from a DSLR . But far more better than a common point and shoot .
Pros: Pretty good zoom range, Great focusing speed , Lots of scene modes , Manual and Auto functions ,HD
Cons: Med image quality, High noise,Poor view - finder,Soft at high end .
Summary: I am looking to step up from a compact camera to a bridge camera , when i read all the review's on camera's ive decided on i end up dissapointed with what folk say about it. In short the more i look at various models , the more i feel like pulling my hair out .
