Summary: Sony DSC wx10 is a facinating camera. I love its apps; size, features, it grips to hand firmly, I wonder how sony pple made this cam this much small with those features!!! It is truly compact, well done Sony. But its little heavy respect to its' size. Stunning performance at dark!!! Can capture high details even in dark sites. This is the ONLY compact camera which offers manual control as well!
Summary: I was quite pleased by the pictures I took with this camera. There are a wide variety of options for picture-taking with the device that enhances the photos. However if you simply use Auto mode and snap a shot, it comes out very nice. I particularly like the panoramic mode and how on the setting, the camera automatically takes pictures when the device detects a smile. The device is also very compact and travels easily.
Summary: This camera does a lot. It replaces as older Cybershot that I own and it is so much better. A good point is that it now uses standard memory, not just the Sony Pro Duo type. I use a 16gb type 10 SDHC and it can handle a lot. It also uses the same battery that the older camera uses, so I now have extras. The battery life seems to be very good. Overall, I would recommend this camera to others who want a lot of camera in a small package. A good value for the money spent.
Good product for the money, needs more compatibility with Mac platforms.

Summary: Easy to use, powerful manual features, great picture quality, right size and weight for many applications. The only drawback is the type of movie file, it requires Sony's own software to download and work movie files with greatest quality. Additionally, there is no Mac software compatibility, only for PC based computers. Unfortunately this camera has been discontinued without an explanation. I guess Sony realized it was offered at too low of a price for the quality.
Summary: I looked around for quite a while before replacing our 7 year old 6MP Olympus compact and we have not regretted our purchase. This is one of the best compact cameras I have used to date! It has some superb features including Panorama and intelligent scene type selection. We've managed to capture some great shots inside, outside, moving and at low light levels... the camera always seems to choose the right settings for the perfect shot.
