The camera takes great pictures, easy to use

Summary: The camera takes great pictures, easy to use. Small fits in the pocket. It won't up load to the computer. I bought a second battery because at times that was the problem. The bottom line is if you can take pictures, and can't upload the results, you will be miserable with this camera. I can't tell you if it is the software, the camera, or the batteries. All I know is that every time I use it it is a hassle. Don't buy it.
Summary: Great camera. Love it! I had bought a Nikon Coolpix and it didn't work out for me, it was too slow taking pictures and I lost my children's expressions. This camera is great, it films in HD and also takes great panoramic pictures. I really like Sony cameras!
Excerpt: I recently purchased the Sony Cyber Shot WX10 camera. It is a 16.2 megapixel camera and the main reason why I asked to receive this one was because it records video in HD. I have always wanted a camera with HD capabilities so this was exciting to try out.
Summary: For the time we purchased it, it had a lot of features for a small package. We use this as an alternative to our big DSLR and has held well to hiking/backbacking trips. The big downside is the ease in which the play button gets pushed. Horrible button. It gets turned on and your battery juice goes down (not cool on a backbacking trip).
Summary: I wouldn't recommend this model because of the fragile door issue, for the 2 that won't close. Hopefully the next model is more sturdy. I have been satisfied with the quality of pictures as far as compact digital cameras go.
Pros: Good quality pictures, especially in low light situations. Very compact.
Cons: Difficult to navigate the manual options. I have recommended this camera to several people, and the door for the battery/memory stick on 2 of them has broken and has to be held on by tape, even though there was no abuse. This is poor quality.
Summary: A SOLID camera. I have bought two Nikons, two Kodak (V570 and V705) six Canon's and now two Sony P&S cameras. Without a doubt, this is the most solid, feature-packed brand line of them all. I do real estate and YouTube videos and the video quality is phenomenal. For real estate, the Sweep Panorama and wide angle native lens is great. For low-light, the multi-shot handheld night scene is a life saver. This is a metal-body camera that has survived drop after drop.
Summary: This camera is great. I’m not a professional so I might not be the best person to advice from but, I would purchase this camera again. I think it takes great pictures and I really like the stabilization on the video recording. All the settings make it easy to take the perfect picture.
Have several point and shoots but keep picking up this one...

Summary: I treated myself to this Sony because I wanted to play with the panoramic feature. Glad I did because those shots are easy and satisfying. I own many p & s cameras - Nikons, Canons, Lumix etc. but this guy is small and powerful and the one I go to most often.
After having the B series I wouldn't buy this, Sony what were you thinking?

Summary: Be aware there are different models of the WX-10. There is this one, which I found to be disappointing and then there is the WX-10B which I found to be stellar. WX-10B has more features and is a much more versatile camera. After having the B first, the WX-10 was a real let down.
