High speed burst captures 10fps without distortion and expansive Sweep Panorama shots are easy to achieve with press and sweep motion. Control it all on its 2.7" Clear Photo LCD Plusâ.
The bottom line: The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX1 is a great, fast-performing snapshot camera that falters on photo quality. Read more

Its performance specs are truly impressive, and the build quality is above average. The lens is also higher quality than the norm, and this is evident in image quality. If it's within your budget, the Cyber-shot WX1 definitely deserves a look. Read more

I bought the Sony WX1 because my Canon Powershot G7 is dreadful in low light situations. The WX1 is somewhat better in low light but not the dramatic improvement I was expecting based on the reviews. Additionally, for all other situations, the image quality is dramatically worse than the Powershot G7. I'm still looking for the camera with the motor drive, zoom, responsiveness and image quality of the G7 but that can perform better in low light. Taking pictures of my... Read more

The BIG problem here is that there's a flaw in the design that will produce a dark area on the left in many close-up pictures taken... Read more or see product
A very nice super compact camera. Extremely small, I can easily take it in & out of my jeans pocket. I've only had the camera for a week, but its ease of use and lack of features are probably a good thing for me, since I'm a basic P&S user, but like my gadgets. Read more

Good all around performance, plus those two wonderful features of wide angle, and low light. The image quality is excellent and it delivers on those two important to me items. You should plan to buy a 4GB or 8GB Duo Pro memory stick (about $22 and $36 respectively) and you're good to go. There are other things to like about the WX1 including the... Read more
