I didn't like the way Sony changed the buttons on the back ...

Summary: I purchased this camera as a replacement for the W290 that I bought at Target 5 years ago at full price (around $240). My camera still took pictures but a hazy circle of white began to appear in the center of my photos. I took it to a local camera repair shop and he couldn't fix it. He told me to return it to Sony. Sony wanted to charge $91 for the repair. I purchased this replacement for $8 more. Why did I purchased the same model?
Summary: I have owned a previous Sony Cybershot, and I liked it so much that I wanted another when I lost my old one. This new Cybershot also takes great pictures (for a point at shoot camera). The only criticism that I have is that transitions of turning the camera on and off or viewing the picture and taking picture mode are a little slow. Also, the wheel to change the picture to movie mode is easily moved, so just taking the camera out of its case can change this selection.
Summary: Really enjoy this camera. Easy to use and takes great pictures. Sometime the flash is a little too strong so often just shut it off. Red eye works well. Smile function is a bit superfluous, but whatever- entertaining to use.
Summary: I had a Cybershot DSC W150 that I dropped and broke. Bought this as a replacement and am very pleased. It is very easy to use and if you're mostly a "set it on automatic" kind of user, it is great. The only issue is darkness in low light, but this has been improved with this camera and I've found this to be an issue in almost any small point and shoot. Of course, just turning on some lights helps the situation ; ) I also love that the battery lasts so long on one charge.
