Summary: This is actually a very nice camera. I'm only giving it 1 star because of the strap. Yes, that is correct, not the ease of use nor the electronics, the strap. It doesn't fit through the hooks on the side. Nor do straps from other cameras I own.
Summary: I wanted to love this camera. I had previously used an HX200V and figured this would be similar but it's not. Regardless of the settings, this camera is SLOW. I have missed so many shots waiting on this camera to either take the shot or to finish writing the photo I took before it.
Summary: This item is still under warranty and I sent it in for repair and was told it would be repaired under warranty. I called today when I read on there site I needed to approve the repair fees and was told it was damaged. It was not damaged. I will never own another Sony product of any kind.
Seller sent 3 different cases, none of which fit the camera

Summary: I bought this item from this seller because of the acessory pack. I already tested out the camera at my local camera store, but chose to buy from this seller because it was such a better deal for all the things that came with it. What I recieved is a large camcorder case (like from the 90's..

Summary: I got this camera for my wife for san valentine and it was a sad surprise when she found out that the flash wasn't working at all. We tried to call the costume service and there was no way to make the flash work. It's 7 march and i'm still waiting for another new camera for her san valentine gift.
Summary: I finally pulled this out to use the battery as a back up three months after purchase. They sent the wrong battery. My camera, one of the ones indicated, takes an NP-BX1 battery. They sent the correct NP-BX1 charger, but provided an NP-BK1 battery.
Excerpt: its fun to play with the 1200mm zoom... n that's it!!! $500, is a complete waste. 20m.p. prints 14x19". n as the zoom in or out... the motor roars...feels good in hand... but the front element of the ziss glass makes a loose sound sometimes... i m sending it back... thats it sony.
Pros: Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD
Cons: Poor Image Quality, Poor in Low Light, Short Battery Life
Summary: Admittedly I have previously used a Nikon D90 which is known for its crisp photos. The D90 is a 12 MP camera and the DSC HX300 is a 20 MP camera. When you read that a camera is about the sensor and not the pixels, believe it.
