Summary: Other than the few chips out of the finish, this camera has held up well and performs. Great battery life, takes great pics and video and is compact enough to stick in a pocket. We purchased a floating wrist strap to keep it from ending up on the bottom of a river or lake, and it allows us to be carefree when playing in the water.
Excerpt: I love it, it's full of functions and modes and stuff... But does it really go underwater ? I mean it looks fragile and the front panel has already moved a little since I have it (20 months or so)..
Summary: I got this as a Christmas present about a year ago. I love how clear the pictures are above and below the water. Im a swim teacher so I wanted the camera to take pictures of my students for their end of the session gifts. I also travel often to tropical locations and was intending to use the camera for snorkeling photos. The camera was a little difficult to get used to but once you understand its not as bad.
Summary: When I was looking for a new digital camera, I compared technical specs, and the last thing I was thinking about the new camera was taking pictures under the water... LOL... And I was surprised with the quality of the pictures I took at Disney's water parks! Good size, weight, quality, and easy to operate! Ohhh... The pink color is because the camera was a gift to my wife! LOL... 4 stars. Carlos.
Summary: This camera is actually a replacement for the same model I bought two years ago. It must be being closed out, because I paid less for it now than two years ago. The old camera continued to work fine, except the video stopped recording. Very odd. I have no idea why, and as the camera was no longer covered by warranty, i decided a repair would be too costly.
Summary: I bought this camera to replace a Cannon point and shoot. The touch screen turned out to be very intuitive. This camera takes pretty decent photos. It is not as good as my old Cannon, which got stolen. I do like the fact that it is waterproof and shock resistant etc. It has a number of settings which I particularly like. the backlight adjustment does a nice job when you are trying to get people and the background.
Summary: I got this beautiful Coral Pink camera for my birthday about a week ago and I really like it so far! I have not tried this under water so I won't be able to review that yet. I'll edit the review as soon as I do. So let's get to the pros and cons of this camera! Pros: - Zooms while recording. - auto-focuses close up and zooming in while recording. - A bunch of lovely features!
Summary: This camera is just amazing for the price it costs and for its portability. Until now I have not explored all its potential as I used to do with my old Canon A520 (which I still love!), but the features I have used worked really fine. PROS: super-portable, very good video image and handheld twilight function, which allows you to take fotos with low light. Large LCD screen and quick to recover between two fotos.
