Summary: This is my second purchase of this camera. I have two daughters who love the quality of pictures that this camera takes. It is expensive but well worth the money. I also give high praise to the customer service that I received from Sony!!!! That means a great deal to me.
It takes excellent quality pictures with no photography skills needed

Summary: I opted for this rather than getting a WX9. This seems faster than the WX9 in terms of handling and operation. Everything else is almost the same. The image quality is not as good as my trusty Pentax K100D SLR but it is much nicer than the 12-Megapixel Nikon coolpix s70 its replacing. My 2 complaints are that the camera is too small for my hands and some of the buttons need to more raised.
Summary: After many days of deliberation, I finally settled on the WX5 and I'm very pleased with the product! Here are my thoughts: Photo Quality: Excellent! Very clear photos with minimal noise and coloring that is pleasing but not overly saturated. Low light performance is as advertised!! The Exmor CMOS sensor combined with the multiple low light scene modes produce near flawless natural light photos. The flash also performs well with no red eye and proper exposure level.
Summary: Well I thought it was about time that I write a review for my Sony DSC-WX5..in short I love the little thing..it is small and has surpassed all my expectations of what I expected..did my homework before purchasing and read several on line experts reviews and have "no" regrets with the purchase. Pictures turn out sharp and clear and vibrant..find the Superior Auto Adjustment is suitable for about 50 of the pictures I take.
Summary: Summary: PROS: - Very compact - Excellent picture quality outdoors and indoors - Superb low light performance - Excellent 1080i HD video quality in stereo (thanks Rupter, it is indeed 1920x1080 but interlaced) - Very good intelligent mode - takes regular SD card (not only memory stick as other Sony cameras) - Has a regular mini HDMI connector(not a proprietary connector as other Sony cameras) CONS: - Short battery life - Noticeable motor noise while zooming in video mode...
Summary: This camera has everything you would want in a point and shoot. It takes amazing low light pictures, it has many cool features such as Panorama Pictures, 3D pictures (on the camera itself or you can connect it to a 3D TV), and background defocus (similar to DSLR pictures with blurred backgrounds).
Summary: First of all, I bought this camera to shoot in low light situations and I tell ya, it delivers! I have a Canon EOS 60D and I hate lugging it around with me when taking indoor or low light shoots. I have been looking for a P&S camera with excellent lowlight images and this happens to be the best one. I have not used the movie mode or other shooting modes. My main concern is only the low light shooting.
This is a great camera and I very much enjoy its features.

Summary: This product has definitely met my expectations. I was looking for a camera that could take descent pictures in low light without a flash and that allowed for quicker response time between shots than my old Olympus C-5500. This fully meets those expectations. Also, A photographer friend was amazed at the depth of field in one of my pics for a point and shoot camera. I have had a blast with this camera and it is only a couple of weeks old.
