Very nice camera!
26 December 2014
Summary: I purchased this camera for a trip to Honduras. It's not so easy to transfer the photos to a smart phone. (In my case I transfer them to my Kindle.) Sometimes it works right away and other times I have tried it many times during a 30 minute time period. I do love the photos it takes. I still haven't learned all the tricks and I'm sure in time I will be able to do much more with the camera. I would buy it again.
Summary: Wonderful camera for a beginner. Very easy to use. Love the big screen! Love the feature that allows for auto - adjustment. Sometimes it takes a little long to process the pics tho, which means I have to wait to take the next pic. This is an inconvenience if you're taking live action shots.
Summary: I have a really nice Sony and wanted this as a purse backup on my trip to SE Asia. I used it about 3 times, didn't really like the quality of the pix, but now I have it in my car, so I'm happy. Can't keep my good camera in the car!
Summary: Camera seems to take good photos, but the setting have a learning curve that takes time. I still have not figured out why it comes up with a processing mode after taking some pictures. I do like the panoramic mode.
Summary: Almost everything about this Sony is great. Two items that come to mind are the image stabilization and the 20X zoom which set this apart from every compact point-n-shoot I've ever owned. The quality of the pictures and videos are also superb. But I agree with a previous review that criticizes the placement of the shutter button that should actually be where Sony chose to put the function selector dial.
