Excerpt: I bought this camera to take graduation pictures. The auditorium was large, but the zoom made it look like we were sitting right next to each other. My only concern was at times when attempting to zoom in, the image blurred. I still got better pictures than the school photographer and a segment of video as well. The Bluetooth was terrific!
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Battery Life, Good in Low Light, Great Resolution, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
Summary: Wonderful camera for a beginner. Very easy to use. Love the big screen! Love the feature that allows for auto - adjustment. Sometimes it takes a little long to process the pics tho, which means I have to wait to take the next pic. This is an inconvenience if you're taking live action shots.
Excerpt: The WX 300 takes great photos, has a long zoom & is easy to use . The wi if connection between an I phone and the camera works well but the wifi between the camera & either a PC or Mac does not - a Sony tech online tried to help but was not able to.A web search shows many owners with similar problems , Still a great buy!
Excerpt: Have been taking random pictures to get a feel for how it works. The quality of the pictures taken indoors and outside are great, very sharp. Will put to the test next month traveling to Utah. Only negative would be the size of the camera. Someone with large fingers may have trouble with small buttons.
Pros: Fast Shutter Speed, Good Battery Life, Good in Low Light, Great Resolution, Great Zoom
Summary: I have a really nice Sony and wanted this as a purse backup on my trip to SE Asia. I used it about 3 times, didn't really like the quality of the pix, but now I have it in my car, so I'm happy. Can't keep my good camera in the car!
Summary: Camera seems to take good photos, but the setting have a learning curve that takes time. I still have not figured out why it comes up with a processing mode after taking some pictures. I do like the panoramic mode.
Summary: Almost everything about this Sony is great. Two items that come to mind are the image stabilization and the 20X zoom which set this apart from every compact point-n-shoot I've ever owned. The quality of the pictures and videos are also superb. But I agree with a previous review that criticizes the placement of the shutter button that should actually be where Sony chose to put the function selector dial.
Summary: The lens extends so far that it actually casts a shadow on your subject if it is closer than about 12-15 feet. I thought I was covering the flash with a finger until I tested it. Otherwise, it is the best camera we've owned and we buy a new camera about every 3 years. I also purchased a 64Gb card which was worth every penny. Battery life is excellent, zoom is phenominal.
