  • Summary: This is in support of the Sony DSC-HX50V/B and is used by my partner to take her own pictures. We keep this one available while at home so we are always ready to take a picture.

  • Summary: Wonderful camera for a beginner. Very easy to use. Love the big screen! Love the feature that allows for auto - adjustment. Sometimes it takes a little long to process the pics tho, which means I have to wait to take the next pic. This is an inconvenience if you're taking live action shots.

  • Summary: I've taken pics around the house. This is far better than my other cameras and I have had 6 of them. I keep buying them for concerts cause I haven't found that one camera that's really takes good pics at concerts. So don't know about that yet. The pics I've taken around the house are fantastic. Nice and clear. The distance is great. Now if it takes great concert pics you wouldn't be able to beat what's out there for the price.

  • Summary: It does the job. Takes clear pictures, and stable videos. I'm terrible at writing reviews, but for the price, this is an awesome camera.

  • Summary: I have a really nice Sony and wanted this as a purse backup on my trip to SE Asia. I used it about 3 times, didn't really like the quality of the pix, but now I have it in my car, so I'm happy. Can't keep my good camera in the car!

Wanted a Camera without a touch screen.

D. Hamlin "D. Hamlin", Amazon

  • Summary: Camera seems to take good photos, but the setting have a learning curve that takes time. I still have not figured out why it comes up with a processing mode after taking some pictures. I do like the panoramic mode.

Everything I wanted as an Upgrade....Almost!

papa diesel, Amazon

  • Summary: Almost everything about this Sony is great. Two items that come to mind are the image stabilization and the 20X zoom which set this apart from every compact point-n-shoot I've ever owned. The quality of the pictures and videos are also superb. But I agree with a previous review that criticizes the placement of the shutter button that should actually be where Sony chose to put the function selector dial.
