Problems with Sony's Warranty!!!

Summary: I bought Sony’s DSC-WX300 camera and after having it for 3 months the motor to the lens stopped working properly. Sony refuses to repair the camera due to it being too expensive so they gave me an option to pay $180.00 for a new camera. An associate also stated the damage had been caused by me. I asked how I could have caused this issue; they could not give me a direct answer. I then asked if there were any signs of damage (i.e.
Summary: After reading many reviews featuring compact zoom cameras, I ordered this model which was being rated as one of the top five. The photos taken looked as if they were in a paint mode. After resetting all features to factory default, it still wasn't correct. I decided too that the menu was not very easy to negotiate so I didn't order another of this model. My replacement is the Nikon S9700 with 30x zoom which I really, really like.
Summary: Purchased through warehouse deals twice, both times there was damage. Returned and bought new. Damage o second camera (cracked screen) was not listed in description. First camera was like new with package damage. Suspect drop from high place causing internal damage . Price was excellent, but it's a risk.
Stay Away, Sony Customer Service is Terrible, camera doesn't last.

Summary: Bought this camera about 6 months ago, worked great, then one day shutter started making a clicking sound and would not focus. Still had a warranty, sent to Sony for repair, and they would not honor the warranty and tried to charge me $230 for repairs. I only paid $250 for the camera! That's a shame on Sony, thought they would be more reputable company and honor their warranties and provide a better product.
Summary: I ordered a SONY Camera DSC WX300 .. I received the wrong cable with the camera to charge the battery. I also think it was incredibly misleading to offer additional batteries as far as a package with batterries that do not fit the camera..Shame on me not ensuring batteries were for the camera i ordered.
Summary: The camera worked fine around our home but when we took it on a trip it stopped working. We could not see anything in the display so we did not know what our picture would look like. The pictures were poor quality and had dark edges. The camera finally quit working and told us to turn off and turn it back on. It still did not work and that same message continued to appear. We are going to try to return it.
No spare battery; the downside of buying "Fulfillment" items.

Summary: One star not because of a camera problem, but because of a customer service problem. This is a "Beach Camera, Fulfilled by Amazon" item. That means the Amazon warehouse stores merchandise provided by Beach and, when an Amazon customer wants one, ships it from the Amazon warehouse. In the case of a camera bundle, Beach packs and seals a box containing the camera and the various bundle items.
Summary: I purchased this product under 10% cash back offer using my HDFC Debit card. Till date not received my cash back. i have been fighting for it from flipkart customer support and hdfc bank. Bank says they have not received amount but flipkart says they have sent it to bank. Really frustated.
