Battery cover won't close - Mediocre picture quality
28 April 2014
Summary: I lost my previous Cybershot and bought this one. The battery/sim card cover doesn't lock in place. It has a super flimsy and cheap mechanical slide that doesn't hold the door closed. It pops open all the time and now it won't even close. I wasn't pleased with the design either. The camera tries to be idiot proof, and as a result takes all the decisions away from the photographer. Focus is fair to poor.
Summary: Not as advertised, came with 4G card memory card not 16G as advertised and also came with different case not as nice as advertised. This was a bundle but not the Father;s Day Bundle advertised.
Summary: I bought this camera after reading some positive reviews. Got it in March, just in time for our Disney World trip with our kids. Camera worked great and took great pictures. A few weeks ago I tried to upload pictures to my computer from the camera. For some reason, my computer wouldn't acknowledge that the camera was connected and I thought it was a computer problem since my computer is starting to fail on me.
Summary: I have used this camera very little. I am NOT impressed with the quality. The size of the camera was what I wanted but I am dissappointed. Especially since it is a SONY! If you are looking for a camera on the GO, keep looking.
Summary: Even at this price, this camera is very disappointing. It is literally too automatic and makes terrible picture decisions. There is no substantial means for user intervention to create better quality photos. When shooting indoors w/o flash, the ISO jumps to 800 and the pix are terrible. The camera lives at f:2.6, so any depth of field is next to impossible to achieve.
Terrible camera for taking pics of your kids or in low lighting

Summary: I got this as a gift and it is the worst camera I've had in years. Almost all photos indoors take forever to shoot and its a long lag between taking shots. As a result, you will never get the picture of your child you were aiming for. I've missed more great shots with this camera than I can count. I've gone back to using my iPhone because its honestly a better camera for getting the right picture of my kids.
