Excerpt: I bought my camera almost two years ago. At first it worked great and took pictures perfectly. Then it started acting up after a few months. It still works and takes pictures, however it shuts off on me sometimes. The camera has many settings which are great when my camera worked, however now my camera likes to switch settings sometimes going through them all within 30 seconds refusing to stop on a setting, let alone the one that the wheel is actually set to.
Summary: I like the camera for its design but the power is quite fickle. It will turn on occassionally and even after changing the batteries it will only turn on sometimes. That's not okay when you are trying to get candid shots. Short battery life and they do not recharge well. I plan on contacting Kodak for advice. There's nothing in the manual about power problems.
Summary: I purchased this camera a over a year ago and it has become my enemy! I loved this camera in the beginning and now I hate it! This camera takes blurry pictures no matter the circumstance! I tried everything and even flipped through the manual several times to see if I had a setting wrong. I ended up getting so disgusted with my pictures and bought an Olympus Stylus 840. I have to say that it has been a lifesaver!
Summary: I am very unhappy with this camera. I have a large Nikon D50 that I use most of the time, but I wanted a little camera, something that would fit in my pocket for occasions when lugging the D50 isn't convenient. It turns out, this camera takes terrible pictures. If anyone moves a muscle in the photo, it'll come out blurred. I might take 20 pictures at an event, and I'll be lucky if 2 come out at all.
Summary: I enjoy taking pictures. I had a Cannon Elph for years and it recently started to go so I went with the cybershot from Sony. I lved how small and sleek it was alot lighter than the elph, but after using it at a close friends wedding I wasn't happy. Alot of "ghosts" in pictures, everyone had redeye, the zoom wasn't good at all.
Summary: I purchased this product in February of 2007. It is now September and I have not been able to use it since July. One day it just started acting really weird, the power button was flashing, which means the battery is dead, but even after repeated charging it still would not work. I purchased a new battery to see if maybe something had happened to the original one and it still did not work. Per Sony's customer support I sent it to their camera repair center.
Summary: Unfortunately camera is faulty. The camera is a different model. Difficulty in returning item. The seller only responded to our enquiry once. As I have had similar model I was very disappointed when it didn't work. I am sure had it been in working order I would have been very happy.
