Summary: I love my camera got in 2009 it is now 2013 (yes i know im late) and it great. I get compliments on it every where i go. It has never malfunctioned on me and everything was in brand new condition when i got it.
Summary: Not sure why everyone is giving this camera such high praises. I've had it for about 4 years and it's been a trusty little camera for what it is. Functionality wise it's easy to setup, easy to use, and easy to work with. There's very little on the user-end that you can mess with (ISO is the deepest I could get besides facial recognition, flash, and a few other settings). So for a pick-up-and-shoot camera, this is pretty good.
Excerpt: When my Casio Camera broke down over the Christmas Holidays I was very upset. After shopping around I found just what I needed to replace it. The Sony compact Digital Cyber-shot Camera. It has a Carl Zeiss lens. It is small that you can carry it around with you. So it's always at hand when you want to snap a picture. It takes the clearest, best focused pictures. It lens zooms in and out. It has red eye reduction.
Excerpt: The Sony Cyber-shot W230 takes photography to another level. There are a number of settings to use from smile shutter to taking perfect landscape photographs with one roll of a switch. The zoom is indeed exquisit and it comes with vidieo capabilities as well. The video is clear and able to hear the playback well. The screan size is more very good size making it easy to zoom in on the target of your photograph.
Excerpt: I recently got this camera (the silver version) and I really like it. I have a huge DSLR that I love, but sometimes you just want a little camera to throw in your purse or pocket and not lug anything. This camera is very small and thin and has a huge viewfinder. It's very easy to use. Only a few settings are confusing like the face or smile recognition. I love the latter. It can actually tell when someone smiles and snaps the shutter as soon as the smile happens.
