Summary: I had the Sony cyber Shot 2.0 and the Sony Cyber Shot 7.2 they worked real well for what I was useing them for shots on the road, etc this DCS-W190 is about a 1/4 of the size of the 2.0 and about 1/2 the size of the 7.2 and has the same functions, the other two always buying batteries, nice to have a charger with this one, noticed some bad reviews on this ? but I was comfortable with the product and not trying to be an Ansel Adams. This is a great camera for the price.
Very Handy Little Camera - Good for Documenting Projects
LT1 Silverhawk, Amazon
3 July 2012
Summary: I bought this camera when it first came out some time in 2009 and have been using it ever since. While I have used it for general as well as as some artsy photography, it is now mostly used to document my automotive projects. Its small design, strong flash, and good focus make it very ideal for photographing parts in tight spaces. And the pictures come out very sharp, though every thing needs a bit of quick touching up in a photo editor.
Summary: I always take pictures with my friends and this camera has lasted a good 3 years, and the only reason im out to get a better one is because ive sat on it and dropped it countless times. It has many settings to willingly adjust. For a "point and shoot" it takes reallly good pictures. I always get complements on them from my friends. Its a little on the heavy said but nothing too bad.
Summary: This camera is one of the best cameras I have ever owned. The picture quality is uncomparable. My family and friends ask all the time what photographer took the pictures that I have, and they are surprised when they find out that it was just me using my Sony w-190. I have had this camera for almost a year and it has worked great. The only drawback I have is no zoom when you are recording, but I can live with that.
