A Sony DSC-150 Digital Camera is a great little camera!!
9 September 2012
Excerpt: I bought this camera in the fall of 2008. The reason I bought this one was because it was a decent price and has a 5x zoom lens, which is good for a small camera. I like to take a lot of pictures especially on special occasions and I have been quite pleased with the quality. One of the things that can get a little annoying is that there are two main picture taking settings that each have different features.
Excerpt: I've picked up this camera during a Sony promotion and was excited to replace my aging Lumix. Have read review after review and decided that this one was a good balance between price and performance. Me and my wife both soon started hating this camera. It takes.. ok pictures in the daytime. I think about half are decent, half are poor. It has a hard time focusing correctly and the images are often washed out. Now for low light performance.
Sony Cyber Shot DSC-W150 Digital Camera Delivers Good Images

Excerpt: Our overall satisfaction with the Sony DSC W150 is good. The pictures are almost always clear. The steady shot feature works very well. I've used other cameras that I couldn't get a clear picture out of. The several different modes mork great for what they are programmed. We usually find ourselves using the easy setting for taking pictures of our kids. The only thing we have to change is whether to use the flash or not depending on the light.
Summary: Very good features and a great deal. Sony always makes a good product. Great battery life with the included Lithium Ion battery. The focus features make a very easy picture taking experience. Not the most mp's possible but it takes very vibrant and detailed pics and the video isn't bad either. All and all a good all purpose camera.
Summary: Great Features and zoom!!!! Smile Shutter™ technology captures a smile the moment it happens. Simply choose the Smiley Face icon on the LCD and the camera does the rest. You can also select subject priority and indicate the degree of Smile Detection Sensitivity. Face Detection technology detects up to eight individual faces and controls flash, focus, exposure, and white balance to deliver accurate, natural skin tones with reduced red-eye.
Summary: The W150 camera features a new intelligent scene recognition (iSCN) technology, which allows the camera to automatically select the optimal scene mode for a variety shooting situations. In advanced iSCN mode, the camera will take a photo based on the user’s settings. If the camera determines that another setting would yield better exposure, it will automatically take a second photo with that setting.
Summary: Camera works as you would expect a Sony to work. The unit is excellent for ebay pictures its primary use. The camera was purchased to replace a five year old Sony that was still performing well I just thought technology had progressed and it was time to move up. A 16GB card purchased on Ebay has been added this makes loading photos in the computer easier and increasing the storage capacity of the camera.
Fantastic Camera! Does everything from pics to videos!

Summary: I bought this camera because for our spring break trip, the golf team I'm a part of went out to Pinehurst NC. I knew there wouldn't only be very picturesque holes, but a lot of golf history on the walls of the clubhouse/pro shop, and I wanted a camera that could take very detailed pics, travel well, and also take video footage in case someone made a hole in one. Overall, the camera exceeded my expectations!
