Excerpt: This is a good functional camera, which i find easy to use. The camera boasts a variety of features, including video recording with decent quality. This is a great bonus for the holiday trips or sport events, and with a good size memory card you can record up to an hour of film!
Excerpt: I personally felt the need to buy a good camera about 2years ago, and after much research i decided that the w12 was problably the best. I think the black looks really cool especially as it comes with a case and spare batteries.
Summary: Bought digicameras for the family, Fuji, Olympus, Cannon - tried them out myself, found out what I didnt like and then looked around for one myself. I have now had the W12 for 3 weeks and it satisfies totally. I need a compact camera as I do a lot of hiking and this sits on my belt ready for action.
Summary: I bought this camera a few days ago and have so far found it to be brilliant. Having studied Media and Photography, I found that this camera can do everything I want and more. Summary: This is my first foray into the world of digital photography and the impression I get is very positive. I have tested the camera in low light/night conditions, macro mode for photos of small objects, and pretty much most conditions, including high altitude, where there is a lot of blue light.
Summary: Bought the camera in the summer just before the Athens Olympics, as a camera to take in the stadiums. After doing thourough web research I bought the DSC-W12, instead of the Canon IXUS 500 which was the other contender and I am very glad I did so.
Summary: I have to confess that I am no photography expert, in fact this is the first "proper" camera I have ever owned. So far I have not been disappointed. It took about about 2 minutes to figure out how to take the first picture and I think the quality is very good. After playing with the settings and...
Summary: I was looking to replace my old DSC-P51 (Sony 2MP) which has been very good but is now well overtaken by the technology available today. In looking at the bewildering array of models in the market, I realised that if I stayed with Sony I could reuse my Memory Stick cards from my old camera.
Summary: This is a fantastic piece of kit. I have owned five digital cameras, upgrading over the years and generally being very satisfied with each newer model. My last one was a slight disappointment, it was a Konica 4MP model, but this Sony is bar far the best I have owned.
