Summary: I love this camera. I bought my first TX-7 in May 2010. I dropped it in a parking lot and it got run over in fall 2012. I replaced it with exactly the same camera. I fell in a river with the replacement camera last month. Water got in the camera.
Summary: I just bought my second one of these... I use my first one for work and have taken 1000's of perfect pictures in blackout conditions - including damp and dirty environments. I have to say I am constantly amazed at the camera's quality... and ability to stay functioning.
Summary: Seller shipped quickly and was well packed. I could not review very quickly as the battery was dead and the purchase did not include a charger. After ordering a charger (and battery in case the one recieved was no good) the camera worked properly.
Summary: I use this camera every day as a general shooter and it has performed well enough. There is a lot of screen glare when trying to see what you are focusing on when there is too much sunlight making it difficult to see if your in frame or not. The HI-DEF video is fairly good
Summary: Amazing pictures with a fast shutter speed. You can spend a lot more and get a better camera but this was the biggest bang for my buck back in 2010. Video capabilities are horrid though. Then again it's been nearly 4 years since the release but my iPhone takes better video.
Summary: I was fascinated by the camera, even knowing very little about it. I decided to buy one and was just thrilled with the performance. I also made that decision based on Amazon reviews of quite a number of Sony cameras like this as well as reviews on You Tube. I have since bought five more.
