Summary: I bought this camera to take on canoe trips. I've always liked the Sony photo performance, and I've had several. I wanted this one to open and be ready for a photo really fast, and to be able to keep it out and handy on my wrist or wherever when it might get wet - also reducing time to a shot. We usually see wildlife suddenly while canoeing in Canada for instance and I've missed some great shots. But not with this Sony. Used it in Canada this August.
Summary: This is a great pocket camera. We took it white water rafting and hiking. It's definitely my go-to outdoor camera. The picture quality is excellent the refresh time is not as quick as DLSR settings but it's not bad.
Summary: I like it I have a great camera already but I wanted this one for a cruise that I could use in the pool, swimming with dolphins, scuba diving, so on and so forth and this did the job, could have gotten a gopro but this works pretty much the same
