Great underwater picture quality

Summary: Bought this before we went to Hawaii this summer 2013. Now it's $30 cheaper than what we paid for! But it was great buy with all the gears. Float is not as fancy as we expected but it works just fine. We took it underwater to take underwater pics, use it on sand, my kids dropped it few times on the sand, and it still works wonderful. Underwater picture quality is very nice and we are VERY satisfied with this purchase.
Summary: In-camera charging failed and when I did charge the battery using a SONY branded battery charger that was no supplied with the camera, the camera would drain the battery in less than 24 hours even when not in use. Sent back to SONY for repair and they refused because the camera had scratches on it. They said it was damaged. 1. It was not damaged, only scratched. I'll admit it had some good scratches on when I came in contact with some coral, but it was all superficial.
Summary: A great camera that functions very well with great build quality. Sony have turned their game around from recent years and this camera is great. The touch screen is a little difficult - but the picture quality is great and the ability to take photos underwater is just awesome.
Summary: Me and the bf bought this before we went on a cruise! It works so well underwater! We took a bunch of pics of coral and fish at St. Thomas island. Just a tip- just make sure you are always rinsing it off with water esp if you use it at the beach so sand doesn't get wedged in.
Summary: It's the first time I make a review about a product that I purchased online. My first camera was the DSC-TX10 and to be honest, is excellent. But definitely this Sony DSC-TX30 has surpassed all my expectations. Images are sharp, excellent quality and many features. Beautiful pictures, amazing features, colors are exceptional and every photo I take it justice that specific moment.
Summary: Great small waterproof camera. Takes the work out of making pictures beautiful. 18MP is plenty for most all users. Works well in the water, even with the touch screen. All pros with only a couple cons: The on/off button is close to the shutter button and the slide down cover can be in the way at times....neither of these should keep you from buying this camera. We used it in the Caribbean and it took amazing pictures!
Summary: This is my second TX, both are outstanding. They have a ton of options, are small and light enough that my wife likes to carry it with her all the time. Point and shoot, this little guy does the rest. This kit is amazing - it is worth it just to get the extra battery (which we needed in Paris on long day trips). The case will get scratched up a little - and the screen can be tough to see in direct sun - but so is my other most-used camera - my iPhone.
