Excerpt: Great little camera, like all point and shoots I find the shutter response time to be slow when using the flash. I always get the shot just after the moment I wanted to capture. Sony has a strange grain I find compared to other camera sensors. have not tried it under water yet so no comment there. last note, sometimes during a movie I tend to bump the sliding door covering the lens, then the camera shuts off and video is over. Opps.
Pros: Easy to Use, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
Excerpt: Great camera until I tried to download pics. Images are stored in a non-standard Sony format that requires special software to be installed from the Sony website. Furthermore these apps do not support WinXP. Because of the non-standard format used on the microSD, I can't even read the card if I plug it into my PC. So I am stuck with a [$] piece of junk that I can't pictures off of.
Excerpt: Overall a good camera, takes great pictures and videos. Lots of features too. I had a similar unit before and became dysfunctional after few days, so I'm not sure about the longevity of it. Overall easy to carry around, nice looking camera with a lot of features..
Excerpt: Picked up the tx 30 to replace my old cybershot before heading on a trip to the Rocky Mountains. I needed a camera that was everything proof. This camera lives up to its claim. Will take drops and many of the other elements you can toss at it. Picture quality is top notch. I spent a lot of time playing around with all the different effects and captured many incredible mountain shots.
Excerpt: A great little camera when you want to travel light. It is very easy to use and takes excellent pictures in most light conditions. Touchscreen controls (just about everything besides zoom, movie and shutter buttons) can be difficult in wet conditions. This seems necessary to keep the camera both small and waterproof.
Pros: Easy to Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Good Battery Life, Good in Low Light, Great Resolution, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
