DP Review
13 July 2013
  • Summary: The Cyber-shot DSC-TX30 is an ultra-thin rugged camera for those who don't want to worry about the camera getting a little wet. It's certainly not for divers, as the touchscreen display does not work underwater. The otherwise beautiful OLED display is also difficult to see outdoors. The flash is very weak, and battery life is poor. Photo quality is decent for its class, though details are smudged when viewed full size.

Sony DSC-TX30 Review

4 July 2013
  • Summary: The Sony DSC-TX30 is the perfect camera for the holidays, both the sea and in the mountains in both summer and winter, because it has a camera body resistant to everything, even water. Among the features stand out the optical stabilizer, Full HD movies and the display of the highest quality, while the optical department leaves something to be desired, with a very wide lens does not zoom in and not really high.
  • Pros: Display resolution, Carl Zeiss; Quality and resolution sensor, Full HD movies; Stabilizer; touch screen display; Triluminos Technology; resistant to dust, shock and low temperatures; Intelligent Auto Adjustment .
  • Cons: Optical Zoom; Focal Length not high

18 June 2013
  • Excerpt: The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX30 is a versatile camera that is waterproof down to 33 feet and freeze proof down to 14 degrees Fahrenheit. This camera has all of the features you expect in the best waterproof cameras . It has an impressive 18.2-megapixel sensor which is one of the highest in its class. More pixels contribute to a higher image quality.
  • Pros: The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX30 has a macro mode for capturing photos of tiny subjects, and the responsive touch screen makes it easy to navigate the controls.
  • Cons: It does not have a built-in GPS.

Test: Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX30 (Digitalkamera)

CHIP Online
10 March 2014
  • Cons: Bildrauschen, Abbildungsfehler, Kurze Akkulaufzeit

Test av Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX30

25 November 2013
