Great PICTURES but don't get it wet
5 May 2013
Summary: This camera takes wonderful shots on dry land, for a point and shoot camera. I was looking for a waterproof camera when I purchased it but what sold me on it was the panoramic feature. I decided to also purchase a waterproof pouch - because several other reviews did complain about the battery door being flimsy and a possible problematic issue regarding it's ability to resist water. *THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!
Summary: This camera has great features, motion blurring really good, the picture quality, colors and clearity great! Even when during fast motion or if not enough light. I'd like longer battery though (2 hours of video only) but its rechargable. And its colletcting fingerprints like crazy!
Summary: Great specs and features! Love the camera but it NEEDS NEEDS NEEDS a rubber protective case like you can get for a smartphone!!! (Otterbox, can you hear me?) What really sucks is I ordered this camera to take with me in order to journal an epic 2 week motorcross trip across Mongolia and it dropped 2 feet out of an open zipper pocket on my backpack and shattered on the first day there (about 3 days after it arrived) rendering it useless.
Powerful Camera, but it is overpriced at this current moment in time

Summary: The camera itself is wonderful. A nice sleek touch screen camera with high megapixels and good photos and movies, but it should be a few hundred dollars less in price. until this camera is 300 i cannot recommend it to anyone, but once the price drops over time, go for it!
Summary: Let me start by saying that this is a good camera. The feature set isn't my favorite, but don't take my review to mean that it is a bad product; it's fairly easy to use, the pictures are decent and it is easy to carry around. Having said that, I have a few points to share: 1) This camera is very small. Depending on what you want, this is a pro or a con.
The most sexist compact waterproof camera: A Porsche. Great everyday-use on-the-go camera.

Summary: When people see this camera, people go "oOoooOooOO". I also used to work in camera sales, and when customers saw this on display, that was pretty much always the reaction. There's just no denying that the look is very sleek and sexy. There is no other competition out there. All the other waterproof cameras out there are pretty big and ugly... I've tried them.
Summary: Great Camera little slow on picture taking.Thin fit in any pocket. wish the lens had a cover over it when not in use, just clean it for lint or finger marks. price and quality not bad wish it had shock and drop proof. Water proof took it at 6ft and not bad better out side the water and don't have to worrier about weather even better. I would buy this again but to be used on hiking or in bad weather or near water other wise I would use my T2i Camera.
Summary: If youre thinking about buying this camera, please note the date of the review and any edits about this camera. This camera takes amazing pictures. I read someone compare it to a micro 4/3rds. I dont think thats quite accurate, however under ideal high light, mid range, stationary object photos I can see their point. This camera really does take some amazing photos for a P&S. Especially in low light conditions. (I'll upload those shortly.
Summary: If money is not everything and you do not mind spending a few hundred dollars extra then you will find this Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-TX200V ultra-slim, ultra-light a "perfect" choice which offers very unique features that makes this the best `point & shoot' camera product of the year 2012! ... Here is why...
Summary: I just received this camera today. It has impressive specs and I can't wait to use it but it came with a significant disappointment that isn't listed in the information about the camera. It DOES NOT use standard SD cards. It requires a micro SD card. That means it won't work with my Eye-Fi cards so I lose the convenience of automatic Wi-Fi uploading. It also means I have to go buy a micro SD card before I can try it out.
