Summary: This review is coming from a person who has owned this device for a few years now doesn't know squat about cameras. I read so many reveiws from photographic know-it-alls ranting off about specs when all I want is dumbed down English that tells me if this device takes good pictures or not. So for people like me I'll do just that in my review.
Summary: I like the portability of this camera and have owned nothing but sony cameras. I decided to get this camera for travel so that i dont look like a tourist with the larger sony that i have that i use for real estate photos. Well i absolutely hate the intelligent scene recognition on this camera because you cannot turn it off!!!!!!!!
Summary: The camera was working fine for nearly a year after that the screen went mulicolored. After that tried removing battery and puttingthe battery still when we switch on the camera the screen still shows multicolored. No picture can be seen or taken now with the camera.
Summary: I was very happy to receive my Sony camera and start taking great photos but after only a few months the battery would barely hold a charge. After about 10 months it didn't hold a charge AT ALL. Very disappointed with this sony product. It is a nice camera but beware of battery life. I will return to Canon or Nikon for my future camera purchases. Definitely not with the $$.
RIP dear camera... After only 6 months of very light use..

Summary: I purchased this camera only 6 months ago. It was terrific! Beautiful pictures, very portable, adorable design, love the touch screen and all the features! I didn't even use it that much, carefully carried it around on a vacation and a couple of family reunions. Now, 6 months after I had this, the touch screen just all of a sudden went pitch black! Teh camera trurns on, you can take pictures, zoom, anything, but you cannot see a thing on the screen...
Summary: Got this for Christmas and the pictures are blurry! The anti-shake obviously doesn't work. It's not like I'm vigorously shaking the camera! Not sure why, but all I can assume is that the anti-shake is not doing its job.
Summary: I usually dont write reviews but I find them helpful. I love Sony and this camera was a huge disappointment. We are returning it because of poor picture quality. We have DSC-H5 and love the pictures, but it is hard to carry around. We wanted a compact camera that would still take good pictures. Many of the pictures were blurry and often had a weird white light on them. We tried adjusting the settings but the pictures poor in good light and poor light.
Summary: For years I thought SONY was the consumer Tech leader and innovator, that was up until I purchased the DSC T90! This camera is/was a gift for my wife, I am trying to ween her off a Canon film SLR. I was looking for an easy to use point and shoot camera that would be dependable and easy on the pocketbook; so far so good. Amazon shipped the camera promptly and all was well.
Summary: I have previously used Power shot as well Cyber shot both. This one i have selected because i do not want to carry a camcode as well camera on a trip or any function. Also what i wnated is small size, 10MP+ and HD video. So there are 2-3 contender, one is from Nikon as well. I checked out all models in retail store and finally ordered this one. Pros: - Very good design, weigh and fetures packed. - Very usable and simple UI.
Summary: I've had this camera for less than two years and it eventually broke down. The screen started having fuzzy white lines and a completely black screen and when I tried to take pictures or videos, nothing would show up except what's on the screen prior. I would not recommend anyone to buy this kind of sony cybershot. It sucks and it's not worth the price.
