Great macro feature!

Summary: This camera is not so special for taking pictures of scenery. What IS great at is taking high quality photo of flowers and mushrooms using the macro mode. I purchased it several years ago and it has served me well. I was actually thinking of buying another one as a backup.
Summary: I got this camera for christmas, as I got tired of my Bloggie touch. I am an amateur photographer, and this appealed to me. It takes great pictures for just 10.1 MP... I just rather would have a capacative touch screen rather than a resistive. Lastly, buy a bigger battery for extended use.
Excerpt: I bought this camera for my wife to replace a Canon Powershot SD1100. Boy what a mistake that was. I mainly picked this Sony cam because my wife wanted one with a touchscreen and seeing that other relatives have less expensive Sony point and shoots I thought this would be a good choice.
Summary: Had a previous Cyber shot and liked, so I bought another. I can't seem to get the flash to force flash and you can't have the dates print on your pictures now, but overall, it is a great easy camera.
Summary: Went to Best Buy to look at this camera and they were selling it for $370! Saw it on amazon for $269 and had to grab it. Best camera I have ever owned so far. I am no professional photographer but for an amature point and shoot picture taker, its a great camera.
Summary: Overall I like this camera a lot. It's the perfect size to fit in your pocket, even jeans. I have a much older 5mb Cybershot that I think has better overall image quality, but the tradeoff on the size is worth it.
