Excerpt: I was given the Sony Cybershot T500 Digital camera as a christmas present from my parents. I must say that I have enjoyed using this camera and have not had any problems with it. The look of the camera is very unique and stylish looking. It is very easy to use and produce very nice pictures.
Excerpt: My daughter got me this camera last year for Christmas, and I wasn't at all sure that I wanted a digital camera. I had a nice camera that still used film. I knew how to use that one and wasn't very sure that I could master something so technical. I was wrong!! It is actually pretty easy to use. It takes excellent pictures. My kids showed me how to download the pictures and even printed them for me. It was really pretty easy. I don't know what I was so afraid of.
Excerpt: I got this camera for Christmas this past year, and I'm totally loving it! Wasn't sure if I'd like a completely touchscreen camera to take my pictures, but I've had no problems with it so far! I love the fact that the view screen is so huge, the zoom is amazing, and the photos it takes is just quality! Sometimes you have to push the screen twice for it to select something, but that's the only thing wrong I see with it.
Excerpt: I love the fact that his had a touch screen on it and me being the person that I am I have never seen a camera with a touch screen on it. I can see my pictures and edit them in the screen if I wish which is so awesome to me. And I adore the zoom feature on it as well. I can zoom in and out while taking a picture. How neat is that? I love this camera and I think that it is perfect for just about anyone who needs a great camera.
Summary: Great Camera and Video with Audio, Just buy some extra batteries so you can rotate for use. My Wife has been looking for a Camera for about a year and J and R and Sony delivered the good with the SONY DSC-T500
Pros: Bright LCD, Comfortable Controls, Easy Setup, Easy to Keep Clean, Easy To Use, Great Picture Quality, Strong Construction
Summary: I bought this instead of the Panasonic Lumix LX-3 thinking the HD video would be a great feature to have available. It is - but the touch screen interface is balky and not at all intuitive. The T-500 is also a slippery little devil - even if you hate them use the wrist strap ALWAYS or risk sending the camera on a one-way trip to the floor. Be sure to have a microfiber cleaning cloth/bag handy too as the beautiful LCD screen is a fingerprint magnet.
Pros: Bright LCD, Coolness Factor, Easy To Use, Great Picture Quality, Strong Construction
Cons: Memory Stick Media Only, Touch Screen Interface
