Defective file writing

Summary: Owned the DSC-T200 for a year and a half. Unfortunately, I regularly experience file errors with this camera. Approximately 1 in 20 images do not fully overwrite deleted files. This means that some new pictures are marred by horizontal bands of old pictures.
Summary: After only 5 months this cameras LCD screen stopped working. There is not a scratch on it but the slightest touch can damage the screen and with out it you can not use the camera. The LCD screen is not covered under the sony warranty and customer service is poor.
Summary: My boyfriend got me this camera for Christmas, after I had read several positive reviews on various camera sites, and I found it utterly useless for my purposes. Anything over ISO200, (i.e. outdoor light or indoor with very bright light from sun shining through windows, ect) looks TERRIBLE.
Summary: I am not a photo guru, just a simple point and click guy with a family that needs a nice small camera that is easy to slip in a pocket to take good pictures and videos with little need to read a manual or make adjustments.
Summary: I've used a DSC T-1 for nearly four years, and Nikon, Minolta, and Canon for four, three and two respectively. I was enamored with the T-1 even for serious pictures. Naturally when the T-1 finally gave in I went for the latest Sony mini, the DSC T-200.
Summary: I just bought the cybershot DSC-T200 because my husband really likes his T100, so I thought why not go for the upgrade. I can't believe what a poor product it is! The screen was scratched almost immediately, and for some reason they've greatly decreased the continuous video recording time to 10...
Sony Cybershot DSC-200 - Terrible Camera - Photos Dark and Grainy
T. TEMPLETON "T Templeton", Amazon
11 December 2007
Summary: This camera is simply the worst camera i have ever bought. I own a Nikon S51C and a Canon 870IS. This camera does not even come close to either of those two. I have taken hundreds of pictures with each and the Sony DSC-T200 I thought was defective but it was just the quality you get from a Sony I...
Summary: Grainy, noisy pictures even indoors. The LCD screen is pixelated. I even went to different stores and checked them, suspecting a defective piece. Very disappointing. Pity, coz it looks great and the touchscreen interface works flawlessly. I picked up a Canon SD870 and haven't looked back since.
Summary: I was genuinely excited when I first bought this camera. Sleek, stylish, focuses and takes pictures extremely quickly. But the quality of the pictures it takes are utter crap! I can clearly see the pixelation of the photos (it looks like groups of 8-10 pixels of the same color) - this is especially...
Fragile Camera and Customer Service Is Unacceptable

Summary: First the good news. I bought this camera in Sept 2007 and loved it - stylish, fun, good photos Now the not so great news. The camera was dropped from under 3 feet (the person holding it was kneeling for a shot) and it cracked the lcd screen.
