The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX5V is a digital camera that features a 1/2.4 type (7.59mm) Exmor CMOS Sensor that supports 10.2 Megapixels still image capture that are saved into its 45MB internal Flash Memory. The camera also features optional Memory Stick Duo™ Media, optional Memory Stick PRO Duo™ Media and optional SD media storage capability. Its Sony G-lens that is designed with 10 elements in 7 groups (with 4 aspheric elements) has a focal length of 25-259 mm (still shots)/29.8-298mm (16:9 movies)/ 36.4-364mm (4:3 movies); and an aperture range of F3.5-8.0 on iAuto mode. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX5V also features BIONZ™ Engine, an ISO of up to 3200, a 3.0 inch Clear Photo LCD Plus display, Smart Zoom and Precision Digital Zoom, Exposure Compensation, Face Detection, 9 points / Center Weighted AF / Spot AF focus, Macro Mode, supports in-camera editing, NightShot® infrared system, power save mode, Real Imaging Processor ™ technology, 10x optical zoom, 1 – 1/1600 shutter speed, Smart Zoom® Technology, is compatible with Microsoft® 2000 Professional, XP Home and Professional, Windows 7, Macintosh® OS 9.1/9.2/ OS X (10.1-10.6) and comes bundled with Picture Motion Browser Vers 5.0 + USB Driver (Not supported by Macintosh® Operating Systems), and PMB Portable 1.1. Features

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX5V is a digital camera that features a 3.0" Clear Photo LCD™ display (230k pixels) with an anti-reflective coating that lets users compose and show off their captured images. It also features Anti-Motion Blur Mode which captures six images in a fraction of a second with higher shouter speed and combines the data from all six to create a single image with reduced blur. Other features on the camera include High Speed Shooting (10fps) at 10.2 megapixel; DVDirect® DVD recorder compatibility which lets users automatically playback high definition footage on a Memory Stick® media; Optical SteadyShot™ image stabilization which uses a built-in gyro sensor to detect camera shake and automatically shifts the lens to reduce blur; and Intelligent Auto (iAuto) mode that automatically analyzes scenes, lighting conditions, and faces, and adjusts settings to optimized images captured. The Cyber-shot® DSC-HX5V also features PhotoMusic which combines images with music (4 tracks, 5 minutes per track) to produce slide shows with standard visual effects (Simple, Nostalgic, Active, and Stylish); PhotoTV HD and Sony® PMB (Picture Motion Browser) Software ver. 5.02 that lets users transfer, sort, and view video and still images on compatible PC.
