it will develop error E:62:10, and when it does, it's a paperweight

Summary: After 2.5 years, this camera developed error E:62:10. Apparently this is a common thing with Sony cameras, and once it happens, they charge you about $250 to fix it. This apparently happens to a lot of Sony cameras. Avoid buying this.
Summary: Poor quality camera. Will never buy Sony product again. Poor customer service, unable to comprehend that they sold me a defective product. Original camera was defective, never powered on sent back for new camera. New camera worked fine for about 6 months and was only used sparingly.
2 warranty repairs for the SAME issue, and now it needs another repair for the SAME issue but it's out of warranty!

Summary: Somehow dust or particles are getting inside the lens causing dark spots to appear in my images. I always keep it in a case (never directly in a pocket). In the first year that I owned it, I had to send it to Sony twice for the same issue. They replaced the lens, and the dark spots went away.
Excerpt: Great camera for outdoor use but pathetic for indoor/low light. Pros: Great zoom, great image stabilization, nice WiFi image transfer. Cons: 1. I doubt Sony actually tested this camera with the flash.
Excerpt: I really don't know the way people judge cameras. All advantages of a camera (chic, fast, lots of features) are absolutely useless, if there is no picture quality. I felt happy when I bought this camera, because it lies absolut save and comfortable in my hand.
May be a good camera but you need to learn Chineese to use it

Summary: If you buy this from the same place I did you won't be able to use it. It does not have English as a language and Sony have no patch, download or anything. It's probably a good camera but don't get one here. I'm still trying for a refund.
