Summary: My wife had this camera, and sold it to buy the newer sony model 100 zoom camera. After having the newer camera for a while it did a few things better, but the thing she liked about the old camera, the new one did not have that feature. Which is taking mulitple shots with one click. The new one just took a few and picked the best of the 3 or something like that. So, found this one in the box, and bought it. Now this camera is hers, and i have the 100 zoom.
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H50 is versatile and easy to use.

Excerpt: I have two digital cameras, and the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H50 is my "everyday" camera. It's compact size makes it easy to carry in a pocket or purse, so I can take it everywhere. It is versatile and easy to use with lots of great features. It has "smile" recognition capability, which I haven't used yet because I like to figure it out for myself. But that would be a great feature for the novice (or nervous) amateur photographer.
Excerpt: I am an amateur photographer who has been asked a few times to substitute as professional by family members. I bought the Sony Cybershot just before doing a wedding when my previous camera started acting out during the bridal shoot. The pictures came out so fantastic I was pleased, but then I started playing with the additional features and realized how much fun it is. My husband loves Sony so we exchanged the memory card from his PSP and had me going for several...
Wouldn't trade my Sony DSC-H50 Digital Camera for anything

Excerpt: I just wanted a simple digital camera that had a good zoom, a view finder to look through, one that would take good everyday pictures with the ability to do macro if I wanted it to. We went to Best Buy me expecting to spend $100-$150 on a compact digital camera that would be easy to grab and go. What I walked out was an entirely different story. Here's what the young man showed me that totally changed my mind - 1) the Nightshot feature, he opened one of the cabinets...
Excerpt: I love to take pictures. I am very picky with what kind of camera that I have and everything that it is able to do. When I got this camera i was a little bit worried about how good it was going to do. The price seemed to be too good to be true. I ended up buying it though because of how good the reviews were. I am glad that I listened to the reviews because my fellow buyers were correct on how wonderful this camera really is.
Excerpt: I bought this as a "point and shoot" camera, it was awesome for those who enjoy quality and a camera that feels like a camera. I also love the tilting LCD screen, great for those hard to take photos and allows to shoot over your head in a crowd. Memory cards hold lots of data depending on settings. Took this camera to China, did an awesome job of catching some hard to get photos. This unit as the ability to do short videos and takes high quality photos.
Excerpt: After owning two different Sony cameras that both had the same problem and only lasted about 2 years each we swore off Sony and went to Best Buy to look at either Canon or Nikon cameras. We had researched both brands and felt like we had a good idea what we were looking for but when we got to the store we were not really happy with either camera we looked at. The sales woman suggested we look at the new Sony camera they had.
