Summary: I bought this in 2007 and still use it today! what else can i say? yeah they have newer cameras now but the Image sensor on this camera is big? even though it only 6b megapixels the quality t is better than two of my 10 megapixel cameras!
Summary: Do you have a Sony Cybershot DSC-H2 camera? Did your shutter button just POP OFF? Are you mad that your $400 Cybershot is now useless due to their design flaw? Well jump on in! We're gonna do something about it. http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/SonyClassAction
Summary: I liked the camera until one day I heard a "ping" and found that the shutter button had popped off while it was sitting on a counter. I had only had it about 18 months and had paid over $400 for it. I am so angry at Sony that I will never buy another of their products.
Cons: Defective merchandise that makes the camera useless. Company that doesn't care about its customers.
Summary: Do yourself a favor and do not purchase a Sony Cybershot DSC-H2 camera. The shutter button is designed poorly and will fail. Ours has broken 3 times in the last 18 months of casual use. Twice it popped off when nobody was using it! Researching the internet I found many people with similar stories.
Pros: Fairly fast start up, shutter response, and takes AA batteries.
Cons: Shutter button breaks easily, customer service
Summary: I love the quality of photos that this thing lets you snap out. Range of focus can get a little annoying if you're a chronic macro mode user (as I am), but it's still beautiful. I'd give it 5 stars except for one little detail: that darn shutter button.
Summary: I have the Sony Cybershot DSC-H2 and have also experienced the problem with the shutter button. Had it repaired 2x in 2007 and now the button fell off again yesterday for the third time! I love the pics but am very discouraged with the workmanship in this camera.
Defective Shutter Button on all models of Sony DSC H2 Camera
7 July 2008
Summary: I bought this camera just over a year ago and was initially very impressed with its photos quality and ease of use. HOWEVER, recently I noticed the shutter button had fallen off rendering my $400 camera essentially useless.
Summary: I studied reviews & specs many months before selecting this camera. No one camera offered exactly what I thought I wanted. I finally selected this one for (1) the 12X Zeiss lens, (2) how the camera felt in my hand, my main camparison being how good my old Canon SLR fit my hand,(3) made in Japan, not...
If only my ex-wife had been this easy to deal with!

Summary: A co-worker had a Kodak Easyshare Z740. I was blown away by the picture quality. I decided right then that I wanted a camera that had a bigger zoom, better night shooting capability, and image stabilization.
