Excerpt: I have three small children and this is my quick grab and click camera I use to capture all of their precious moments. It is compact, easy to use and has an excellent picture quality. It does not work at its best if there is really poor lighting, but, that is my only complaint. Reviewer received a sample of this product.
Excerpt: This is an amazing camera! I bought it because I needed something small and compact to carry around in my purse for my travels, something that I could use to zoom into something that is far away. It does that and so much more! I love the auto feature on this camera. I have taken some great shots at night - just make sure to hold steady or use something to keep the camera stable (tripod). The zoom feature is wonderful.

Excerpt: I bought the Sony CyberShot H10 digital camera in March of 2009. It has been the best digital camera I have ever owned, and I have owned several that were a lot more expensive. I paid under $200 at Costco for this one and it was well worth the money. It has a 10x zoom and nine settings, not counting video. I take a lot of action photography and both the sports setting and the ISO setting work well for this.
Excerpt: Years ago, I took pictures like film and processing were cheap. (Well, for me, I guess it was - I worked in a camera shop!) After I left that job, I cut back drastically on my clicking of the shutter. Y'know that adage, "You can send your second child to college on what you spent on pictures of your first"? That's me all over. This past Christmas, my children (the second one's idea - hmmm. . . I wonder if the above saying influenced her thoughts!
Summary: Have had this camera for a year and half. Easy to take great pics. The 1080 video is super. Love everything about it except that on a recent vacation must have gotten some sand or something in the lens mechanism. It would not open. I hear this is a common problem with digital point & shoots. Anyway would cost about as much as I paid for it fix so looks like a new camera for me. Will defintely look at Sony's Fugi and Nikon. Will seriously consider an extended warranty!
Summary: Camera was everything I asked for and was delivered as promised except that the vendor shipped a product received from Sony that was destined for UK so the power cord from and to the charger had to be swapped out for an American plug and not a UK plug. $2.50 at Fry's not a big deal just confirm with vendor that they should ship an American plug if the UK unit is shipped. Great camera though size and zoom is what I asked for. and good value on a discontinued camera.
Summary: Without a doubt this camera takes nice pictures and it lives up to it's name Steady Shot. However, there are two flaws. The Zoom button is in such a place that you find yourself zooming when you don't mean to. Your thumb ends up on the zoom if you hold the camera by the "handle". Secondly, I just took the camera on vacation and I found that the battery died fairly quickly - much quicker than my last camera.
Summary: I have to take a lot of portrait and close-up food and product shots for my job. This camera has a terrific range, a very long battery life and generally, I am very happy with this smart purchase. Can't seem to find the right camera bag, though. Don't know what the newer DSC-H-20 has-but this model is well worth the savings.
