Summary: I am a Photographer so i have to do my best to give it an educated review pros very light weight very fast auto focus great flash 10 mp Sensor good color saturation live view is great great price works with my old minolta lens pretty good battery life Takes SD card and Memory stick built in Image Stabilization cons Slow battery charging...
Summary: I have owned two other 35mm cameras from Minolta, and wanted a digital camera from Sony. So far so good; no problems other than the battery has a short life. It drained completely when we were up in the mountains camping. No outlets anywhere, of course. Couldn't recharge it. Camera is very good, though.
Summary: This was my first dslr and it was fantastic, very durable (it has taken quite a few hits and splashes) great image quality, very light, and fits the hand like a glove. And its innovations are only now being taken up by larger players (Canon and Nikon) and that's what i think Sony is great for. but not practical to stick with if one is going to go pro, i myself am moving onto canon. although, for any level amateur Sony is a good route.
Summary: I just bought this camera about a week ago, and let me tell you I LOVE IT. I've seen some reviews online where people gripe about how it's not user friendly, or there are too many menus to go through for changing white balance, etc... Well, unless you're a pro, it doesn't matter in my opinion. I am by no means "advanced", and am still learning the basics of the camera world...but for my everyday life, this camera can't be beat.
Summary: I absolutely love everything about the camera, when it is working. Not even a year old and something was knocked loose. It was taking crooked pictures and had to be sent in. Not even 2 years old now and the light bulb in the factory flash piece went out. Now I can only take pictures in the direct sunlight. My gripe is that SONY won't sell me the light bulb.
Would recommend to anyone that is looking for nice DSLR

Summary: I purchased this model of camera used in like new condition (practically stole it) as a gift for my wife who is inexperienced in photograhy and I felt this would be a good start up DSLR for her to learn with. So far, so good, in fact she loves it, especially the live view feature, she wears glasses and using a view finder can sometimes be difficult, the live view is right there, easy to adjust and easy to see what it is you are about to take a pic of.
Summary: We were very pleased with the camera. We needed it to replace one that tumbled down a rocky ravine on a hike--the lens was spared but the camera base was messed up. The one we bought works as well as our old one before it broke. We were very happy with the product and service.
