Excerpt: I was looking for a small camera to carry when I don't want to carry the heavy Nikons, this camera fit the bill. The fact that there are adapters to use My arsenal of Nikon lenses made it even more likeable.
Pros: Easy to Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Good in Low Light, Great Resolution, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
Excerpt: after sitting on the fence for years, I finally made the plunge and bought a sony a6000. The sheer size difference between it and my Canon 5d mk 3, and 7d mk 2 is staggering. Arriving on an event shoot, I immediately realized there was very little room for me to maneuver, or wield my usual arsenal.
Excerpt: I got the a6000 as a second camera to my Nikon DSLR. It is really good - sharp pictures, comfortable to hold, good features and great burst mode. It loses at least one rating star due to Sony being a real miser. The "instruction manual" that comes with it is a joke.
Pros: Great Burst Mode, Great Resolution, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
Excerpt: Excellent little camera!!! Excellent image quality!!! Not very intuitive to use. Not an extensive user manual. Had to take Youtube tutorials to figure how to use it and it took time to figure out menu but once I did I was pleased with the result. Still learning!
Pros: Great flash, Great Resolution, Small / Compact
Excerpt: I purchased this item a little under a month. I've used it several times now. It's very easy to use and easy to try out different setting. I chose the sigma 30mm prime lens and it works very well will the camera. The pictures come out great even in low light.
Pros: Easy to Use, Fast Shutter Speed, Good in Low Light, Great Resolution, Small / Compact
Summary: Absolutely love this camera. Wanted a camera that was great quality, but still a small frame so that I could hike, travel, backpack, etc. with it. After much research, decided to go with this Sony a-6000. Hands down, very very happy with the camera.
Summary: In automatic mode, I was pretty disappointed. I was getting better pictures with my cell phone. Once I learned how to change the settings in manual mode my pictures were fantastic! I kept getting asked where I got them done!
