The Sigma SD1 is a digital SLR that supports Compact Flash (Type I, UDMA compatible) memory and is powered by a 24 x 16mm (1.5x APS-C) X3 CMOS sensor. It supports SIGMA SA bayonet mount lens, provides users with 46MP (4,800×3,200×3 layers) image output, 3:2 aspect ratio, features a Pentaprism SLR viewfinder with 98% vertical, 98% horizontal frame coverage, 0.95x (with 50mm lens at infinity) magnification, 18mm eye point, -3.0 dpt - +1.5 dpt diopter range, TTL phase difference detection system focusing, 11 points twin cross sensor focus point, Depth of Field Preview, built-in flash, and a 3.0" TFT colour LCD monitor with 460,000 Pixels support. The Sigma SD1 measures 5.7" × 4.4" × 3.1".

Features

The Sigma SD1 Digital SLR Camera incorporates a 46 megapixel 24×16mm APS-C X3 direct image sensor and is designed in a magnesium alloy body with O-ring sealing connections. This makes the dSLR weather-resistant. The SIGMA SD1 also incorporates a 24×16mm APS-C X3 direct image sensor and dual “TRUE (Three-layer Responsive Ultimate Engine) II” image processing engines that provide users with high resolution images with subtle graduation of color. The 46 megapixel (4,800×3,200×3 layers) 24×16mm APS-C X3 direct image sensor captures all primary RGB colors at each and every pixel location, and three silicon-embedded layers of photo detectors which are stacked vertically absorbs red, green and blue light at different respective depths, and reproduces optimized color. The dual “TRUE (Three-layer Responsive Ultimate Engine) II” image processing engine optimizes processing speed and provides high definition images with graduated tones. The SD1 supports TYPE I CF Card and is compatible with UDMA Mode6. Other features on the Sigma SD1 include an 11 point twin cross sensor, a 3.0” TFT colour LCD monitor with 460,000 pixel resolution with wide angle view, and compatible with over 40 Sigma lenses such as ultra-wide, ultra-telephoto, macro and fisheyes.
